At 35% the cost of a Strymon Iridium with an effects loop and a DI (which just saved you another $100 minimum) this could be a great amp in a box solution without breaking the bank. Future A/B comparisons of this and the competition would be great. Proviso.....I believe buying quality only hurts once....but cheaper products have their place and competition in the marketplace is good for everyone.

Hotone Binary AMP>DIgitech CabDryVR or Mooer UK Gold 002>NUX Solid Studio are my current DI solutions.
I keep the CabdryVR around because it's simple and sometimes my Bassist needs Bass cab IRs.
I've got a GFI CabZeus Stereo waiting in the wings. It'll probably replace one of the IR pedals.
I do like the sound of the preamps here - it'd be a good match for the NUX, might be a competitor for my Hotone (which is pretty darn good).
I also have the nux solid studio and i am looking into the mooer micro preamps like you have. how does your signal chain of your whole pedalboard look like with those two pedals?

Jack, sorry to say my brief experience with the Joyo Amp House was less than positive. Of course I don't run it into my tube amps. What I tried was to warm up a Quilter micropro mach 2 and the Tone block 101 head. It failed miserably on both counts. I love the blackface tone and was working on a lightweight rig for pedal steel guitar. I have other Joyo character pedals and EQ that work great. So this was a disappointment, but it's going back. Your demo was excellent and I hoped for the same results. Didn't work for my needs.
Got a Marshall 212 I gig with and a Joyo British Sound I practice with at home. Wondering how much longer I'll want to haul the big combo and looking at pedalboard preamp options
Can it be used in conjuction for example to a Joyo American Sound or does it replace it?
Very nice playing, Jack, and excellent explanations. I particularly liked your focus on the cleaner amp models. I wondered how well this would work with a Powercab, as an alternative to some of the amp sims in a Helix. Any thoughts? Also, could you, by using the right pedals with the Fender Twin model get something close to a saturated 50s Tweed Fender Deluxe? I’d be grateful for you views. I’m thinking of this as an alternative to the more expensive Sans Amp Classic, about to be reissued (2021).
You're like the Andy Martin from an alternate, possible world where he opted for a quiet, family life and shunned the excesses of PGS and Reverb, with all their post production trickery and whatnot.

I have and love the joyo AM, but might get this one for the option of turning off the cab sim and use it with my amps.

Nice review . I use mine alot. Although I'm not sure if it's just me but do you hear a hiss sound after each time you strike a single note ? 🤔
I think it has a noise gate inbuilt and also if you use a good power supply which can give like 1000ma(1A)power, noise is completely gone. Perfect backup rig.
I've read some comments in other videos that this pedal has the capability to save different amps in each bank. Like say, save the fender setting on channel A and then save a marshall setting on channel B. Is this pedal capable of that?

Jack I am a big fan of joyo pedals, boutique pedals for pennies on the dollar, my question is I bought the sweet baby pedal from them, could you review that also, I would like to fully understand how to use it, I know it is a transparent distortion

Hey Jack, you are using this through an amp with cab sim off, yes? I am looking for an amp less, straight to PA set up for smaller gigs, and generally go for a clean-to-crunchy sound. Would this work? OD into House into PA with delay and term in the House loop.
This was straight into the amp - but it does work for that purpose too

@@JackFossett u did at one time everybody says this is a metal pedal seems if u have the gain up it is and if it's lower it sounds like a good rock and blues pedal
