Hey Mertzy, I'm about to graduate to 4th grade of high school. Here we have 6 grades of it until you go to university. I was wondering if you had any advice about what the most important things to focus on are. I'm taking chemistry, biology, physics and maths B (I think maths A, B, C, and D are universal, right?). I want to become an engineer as well, but I don't know any personally.
That is very much depending on the university you plan on applying to. Given that different universities in the same country have slightly different criteria to apply, chances are that univerties across countries also differ. I suggest you to look up the criteria for the universities of your interest 👍. But the general idea is maths and physics for sure, can't go wrong with those, so the higher difficulty you can get on those two, the better you're off.
It's not like he can "just" go out and find a job. It will be almost impossible for him to get into the engineering field without any experience. Not only that, who knows how many years he will be away from actively acting and thinking like an engineer, hopefully he won't need to worry about this if he gets enough stonks to retire after UA-cam.
