there's something mystic, divine in this album. A real masterpiece, able to give me feelings everytime I listen to it. There was a time I found hard to fall asleep. I used to stay awake on my bed till late rolling and swearing to my insomnia....Long time ago, one night a friend of mine passed me this album....I went home, I put the Cd on my stereo....I lowered the volume.....I turned off the light and pushed the play button on the player.....wildhoney and a wonderful travel began....a stream of images, dreams, failures, struggling emotions...a journey inside me...I admit I had smoked.....but it was a marvellous journey of 42 minutes which went by in a while. And then, I fell asleep in a while. The following days for almost a month, this was my therapy. Every night when i went off to bed, I used to put on the player this Cd. Generally I used to not listen to further planets....cause I fell asleep.....after less than 40 minutes laying on the bed....thanks for such artwork Johan Edlund, thanks for such poetry, both in music and even lyrics.....

never listened to them before, but i look for simular styles of music for after my amphetamine binges when im hallucinating(minorly) and just cant get my mind to stop speeding n slow down, after the first song i found myself passivily sitting in my chair with my eyes closed.

I saw live Tiamat 3 times in Romania till now, I just can't enough. This one and Clouds are icons. I have it on CD, tape, FLAC and vinyl. Thank you, Jonas!

For last few years I had musical flashback - melody in my head. I tried to found it on my old CD's from metal magazines (and I have dozens of them). Later on, for hours I listened to metal bands I liked, that composed in 90's. It was growing in me, bothering me, it was so clear in my head! So for time to time I was trying to find it, because it was distracting me when I listened to more recent music. I even tried to found it by playing part or singing in music browsers! :D And suddenly my friend posted this video on FB, with no reason. I thought I didn't listened to Tiamat for too long so I played it. And then... BOOM it was that song! It happened to be 'The Ar' main music motive (with chorus) :D It was one of my fav songs in late 90's when I was often going to rock/metal club for 'hard zone' party :)

Can't believe this album is 18 years old already!! I remember getting it in early 1995, and while it impressed me, i must admit that i didn't really 'get it' for a while. It was just so unlike anything i'd ever heard in metal. But once it licked it was magic!

As a 90´s diehard Tiamat supporter I firstly listened to Clous and Astral sleep. Digging in underground contacts I bought The Sumerian Cry back in´96. Wildhoney already had been released and I did not pay attention to it until a friend lent me it and I fuckin´enjoyed it both musicwise as lyricswise. Bought it and keep it until by now(March/15). Wild honye to wils spirits ones..Ave!

Still pure excellence. Still remember when this album was released. One of the best album to go back to. With lyrics of Gaia they were way ahead of basically anyone in the music industry. We have come a long way but degenerated from those times in every aspect. That decade was easily zenith of the human species. Now we can only look at the sunset and downfall of our species.
