One more thing I want to add:
2:55 Right after Kim's interception and pass to teammate, he was already aware of the opponent player running towards his teammate to pressure, and do quick body check to the opponent to buy few more seconds for teammate to proceed with the ball. This may be a small thing, but I haven't seen this kind of intelligence for a while since John Terry and Ricardo Carvalho times in Chelsea.
That’s a good spot Jason. You’re right, that little action means that his teammate gets a little extra time on the ball. Like you said, very small details but you cannot underestimate how important this can be for the team

@@jogobonito_ You can watch Ferdi Kadıoğlu and Arda Güler. Ferdi plays every match at his best and full energy, especially this season. He can play RB, LB, RW, LW, MO, MOO. He does too much successfull press and dribbles. Also has good shoot technique and making good one-two passes or triangles whatever you say. For Arda Güler... He is so talented for his age. If you watch, you will see his dribblings, first touches, ball controls, outside curved passes, shoots, vision, long passes, crossing is on top level. You can't guess what he will do for his next move. He is just amazing.. God send him to us thankfully, for who didn't watch Alex de Souza in our generation. Both of them play for Fenerbahçe. There are few more players like Kerem Aktürkoğlu, İsmail Yüksek.. Kerem plays for Galatasaray and he has good shoot technique, too quick, fast, and makes good one-two passes with his teammates. He is LW. İsmail Yüksek is also plays for Fenerbahçe. He has too much energy, press power, long pass skills. You can watch them for example. If i missed some other players to tell you, anyone can continue to give examples under my comment :) And your videos are good, keep it up!! Good work

Not sure about that... It isn't that you are wrong as such but he's so bloody complete that you almost see a bit of every defender. If you wanna use Man U examples I'd say he drives out into midfield like Ferdinand did. Has the intensity and aggression of Vidic and so on.

unpopular opinion 0:15 but Kim's strength is also his greatest weakness. Hes too aggressive - sometimes committing unnecessary fouls and sometimes having attackers nip the ball ahead of him in a numerically disadvantageous position. van Dijk is better in that sense knowing when to drop and knowing when to nip.
he probably excels better in leagues where attackers are slower.
that said his other strengths are being quick and mobile, and calm in distribution.
EPL players are more aggressive and smarter .. they will lure him and get him the cards...but him and Martinez can both send shivers to opponents..good addition to squad though...

@@nameegal5277 with your logic, there can be no analysis videos for defenders.. and also, serie A attackers are not on the same level as slovenian 2nd league attackers.
Ofcourse, there are traits that is essential for all defenders, but still different defenders have different styles. For example, anticipation and aggresiveness is big part of character of Kim. This video just focus on those characters and how those traits helped Napoli this season.
