I worked in the CBD all through the lockdown in construction and it was fascinating to see the transitions of things stopping and starting up again.
Melbourne was overcrowded pre-pandemic, deserted during the pandemic lockdowns and is vibrant but not overcrowded post-pandemic. It is just right for the time being.
The figures show 42k people have left the city during lockdowns, not suprising seeing that Victoria has the worst government in Australia. Absolute Nanny state here.
@@cgeez2875 from another perspective it's a win-win for everyone. Those who left Melbourne left for something they want more than what Melbourne can provide. Those who stayed in Melbourne stayed for the things that are important to them which they might lose elsewhere. Overall, more room for everyone involved and better population distribution across Australia.
Beautiful amazing video great footage my friend very nice place thank you for sharing Big Big Like 😊🇮🇹🇮🇹🌴🌴👍👍👍
Loved this! Thank you so much.
Great Video. Thanks for sharing 😀
Thanks for the upload. I spent my honeymoon in Sydney and Cairns in 2017. Australia is a beautiful country and I wish I will have a chance to have a walk someday just like the video in the future.
Stick to Sydney and Cairns. Don't bother with Melbourne. Seriously overrated.
Now finally from melbourne. Great job. Finally someone did a walk through video of melbourne
Thank you for the video!! I miss Melbourne
Good to see the residents of DANistan having a good time
Tempat yang bagus, pengambilan gambar yang bagus, kami yang menonton seolah-olah diajak langsung jalan-jalan keliling kota, terima kasih banyak kawan
Wow...amazing nightlife in Melbourne City. Beautiful, vibrant and charming surroundings. Tnx 4d free tour.
I love Australia! I went to Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane on 2018. I am planning to travel there maybe this year or the next one.
Where r u from bro?
everybody lives in an illusion there!
HUGE difference when compared to eastern developing countries. Massive culture shock.
Melbourne has never looked so quiet and deserted, not even remotely close to it's former self and won't be for decades.
koz everyone a broke mf now 🤣
Nonsense
its*
Nah he is right but it started going downhill before the pandemic.
It's become a cesspit
nice to see. thank you
I lived there for 23 years and left in 2013 when the place started to get over crowded and becoming more expensive. Had a well paid job and could have stayed, but I had enough of the crowds and traffic. The city’s vibe is unique, trouble is more and more people are finding out about it and moving there. I loved the time I lived there and the city will always be close to my heart.
you must be really old, like 200 years old, Melbourne is and will always be awesome, remember glass and concrete dont make a city nice, its the people...more people, mean better vibe.....on that note, i dont understand your comment....are you vibing with kerbs and street signs or something?
love the scenes
Thank you nice place!! 👍
I love Australia and Australian Cricket team , Wow Melbourne nightlife so beautiful food street restaurants looks high stander and great views fantastic video thanks for sharing after watched i subscribed you stay always connected, God bless you

Good to see things going back to normal. We'll be visiting soon!
first you need three jabs hahah
@@stefan19793 who cares
Woooow amazing best moment...
Still mis this city when I was there 2006 to 2008
An interesting place filled with culture / but very similar to the place I’m from (Toronto) - but of course a much more milder climate 😅
Spot the zombies 😁😂
Melbourne’s back busy as ever now.
I remember it was far busier before the pandemic. But this does seem to be just a random evening, nothing special happening. I'm hoping that by Grand Final day the city will be back to normal.
People are overjoyed with tribal dance.
Very good
Thanks u so much dear all ways my life with you beautiful good morning love you too Australians
nice dude.
Thanks!
I miss Melbourne 😍
Flying to Melbourne tomorrow from GC

I’m from Britain and thinking about moving to Melbourne when I’m roughly 24ish. Looking at the nightlife it looks 1000x better than my city nightlife. Can’t wait
Australia is great dude
Imagine moving to another country just because of nightlife lmao
@@dennischapman8683 Australia is good fot that and nature isn‘t bad, everything is much more relaxed than in Italy which is a shithole
Go to Prague. Similar but not so isolated!
@@TheFinnola Prague is good because it actually feels like Europe, London, Paris and Stockholm.. not so much
Круто 👍👍👍
I Toronto, more than 80 percent of the population are Indian and Pilipino and Chinese
@@PaulTrippy-bj8ho There are 10 percent black African and 10 percent white in Toronto .
So? It's a city of immigration it has been since forever

Great to see they finally removed the massive bright yellow QUARANTINE drapes from all the buildings and all the military checkpoints are all gone!
Military checkpoints?Quarantine drapes?
What’ll it be like over Christmas 2022?
Mia Healey got me into this beautiful place
Noone seems to notice your camera. Why is that?
Isn’t that hardware lane in the beginning
Melbourne the best
The best what?
I watched the ignorant video on your channel. I noticed the Australian people are beautiful and nice people. I did not see racism and you loved me in beautiful Australia. I am from beautiful Tunisia too
This city makes me feel so lonely & empty
Why is that?
Just feels very segregated & not community like
@@Inspomusic Segregated, how?
Guess Im just hugely incompatible with humans
@@Inspomusic I doubt it, but, either way it does not answer my question.
😍😍😍😍😍
although I prefer Sydney, but MELB looks beautiful in the video
I'like australia
For the whole video I tried to figure out what kinda weather is it. Some people wear jacket and boots and the others with just summer clothes. Hilarious
@@UnderdogNE As they say there - 'Four seasons in one day!'
typical aussie weather. jacket and shorts
😍♥👍🏻
Night life during the day.
CBD is filled with homeless and urine smelling streets, I will pass on taking my family there.
Curious where do you go when you in the CBD to experience this....cos that's not my experience in Melbourne, yes there is homeless people just like in any city but Melbourne is if not one of the cleanest cities in the world.
@@kimhuynh4975 Any entrance near nightclubs or bars is used as a toilet, Yarra area under train bridge near heliport is one giant toilet for homeless right near the aquarium. It’s disgraceful
@@Phonehomefool Shady places like bars, nightclubs and under bridges wouldnt be the best places to take your family to in any city not just Melbourne. Better to take family to friendly places in Melbourne like museums, botanic gardens, Vic market, Docklands, zoo, musical theatres, restaurants......
@@kimhuynh4975 I’m talking about the entry to the bars on the street, which you see and smell when walking on the street. I never said I take my family inside.
mate where is kangguru?hahaha...i like aussie i like undertable

As a queenslander there has been so many people moving interstate from Melbourne and Sydney over the past two years of the pandemic. Which I don't understand, Melbourne is such a dynamic city compared to Brisbane. I guess when you can sell your house in Melbourne and Buy two in Queensland it's good choice. But the lifestyle and nightlife seems so much more desirable in Melbourne, very jealous actually.
even better to move overseas, any young person buying at these prices for lifetime of debt has rocks in their head. But I guess this is also reflected in Australia's revised birthrate of 1.55 children per women and plummeting each year
@@AusValue big jump, declining birthrate is a worldwide phenomenon with developed nations. I don't think there a correlation between house prices and birth rates.
@@Qwoap there was a recent study in Australia showing that anyone that rents is less likely than ever before to have children, can’t find the article to share but it’s pretty easy to believe it to be true. Anyone that doesn’t own a home in this country and is on average wage… not a good future compared to 20 years ago
@@AusValue Oh right sorry i didn't know that, your right renting certainly makes it difficult to have children. This country does need to get it's self sort with it's housing affordability, or offer more social housing. I feel very lucky to be young and own my place but I want all my friends my age to be in the position as me. And if that results in a drop in rate of return on my house that I would probably take it. Although I doubt this is the majority of Australians opinion. Especially if you have $1 million dollar mortgage.
I live in Melbourne, but I would much rather live in Brisbane any day! The overhyped "lifestyle" here gets boring very quickly. It's just coffee, laneways, and sport. No great outdoors. Conceited and narrow-minded.
Still not Anglo enough.
yeah show elizabeth street at 4am....
I think you mean bejing
The reason the cbd will never be as it was is because of those laughable bike lanes, they have crippled the cbd. Thank Sally Cap, she has single handedly destroyed the city
Silly comment! That doesn't affect night-life.
@@triarb5790 People are refusing to drive into the cbd because of it
If you imagine Australia as a big black Angus bull, Melbourne is located just under the tail.
Sydney? You just use your nose.
It's a great moments if I was part of ur life

What are the convid rules there, currently?
No rules for vaxed in melbourne, except 1 week quarrintine if u test positive,,, for the unvax no work pub, dining out, cinema haircut etc,
@@russellgarvey4924 no 'work'?? How does that work? 'you may not go to work and make a living'??
@@wellifthemediasaysit correct no jab no job it is criminal, our illustrious labour leader Dan andrews who is in bed with killary took a 60k pay rise it's total slavery,

Melbourne had been on the decline for a while now. Regardless of the pandemic
as opposed to when? and what?
Selamat siang mbaku ❤️❤️ kekasihku sayang.
You won't have any trouble getting your hand up their skirts.
There's no hot girls there at all. What a shame.
Australia together with Switzerland, the 2 best countries in the world.
Switzerland has no coastline! It's just claustrophobic snowy mountains everywhere.
Life's Better in Qld
FLOOD, BUSH FIRE, DROUGHT, UNINSURABLE HOUSING... BLOODY HOT AND HUMID, NO THANKS
No thanks. Too damn hot over there
@@viniciussrs100 Melbourne people always think everywhere else is humid. 😂🤣. Takes about a week to get used to it. Morons. I live in Melbourne and spend all my holidays in North Queensland. Love it!
Melbourne was once very diverse, now it's China. I miss the old Melbourne from early 2000 till 2017 everything was great. Now, Victoria has turned into a police state. The healthcare system has become of low quality since the pandemic. You get too many fines while driving, the roads are set in a way so they can easily fine you. The Chinese have taken over. Banks and shops are mostly being operated by the Chinese who can barely speak English. It's painful to deal with them when you walk into high-end shops or call the bank. You struggle to understand their English. I don't understand why Chinese people being from a highly developed country like China is flooding this country. I understand why people from poor, underdeveloped countries move here, but not sure why people from developed nations like China move here. Even the Indians left during the pandemic. Since the pandemic, Melbourne has been *invaded* by the Chinese.
Feel out of place in this city cuz im street nigga
So many people wearing masks still lol.
Third world compared with London or Manchester ..!!
Australia loves you ❤️❤️❤️

This Asian country has a fair few western tourists in it.
Melbourne is a beautiful place
But they are to many Asians
dead
Post-pandemic...that's a nice joke
Where are the homeless?
t. The American
Where are the hot girls?
Brisbane
Poor fashion culture in that city it seems. Guys wear t-shirts to restaurants! Seriously? And mostly drab colors.
I've traveled the world a lot. Melbourne one of the most boring cities on earth. Flat culture in a flat country. Preferably places with real culture as Tokyo, Barcelona, Tel Aviv and Rome..
Absolutely agree! And I live in Melbourne. BORING. Can't wait to get out of here. I lived in Barcelona for 5 years. No comparison
wow, shit loads of Asians ahy? not the Melbourne I remember.
I donot see aboriginals
first of all this is not the city night life this is day time mate. lso why are you passing the same place twice thumbs down
He went by twice because the rest of the city is dead.
It went back to normal levels when Grand Prix was on combined with football matches and comedy fest.
Otherwise expect it to be dead again until next lot of Christmas parties.
It usually dies off after Grand Prix going into winter . Been seeing the same cycle since 2012. Which is why I try to leave during winter .It's no way as busy as Sydney or Brisbane nightlife .
I want it back to its glory days but Andrews and Greens councils buggered it up. I'm just waiting on a congestion tax after they ruined the city roads. Its like they don't want people coming in.
@@ramozj6997 It never had glory days.
