    Considering that such components are often sold in large quantities it might be an idea for FliteTest to sell a package of such components, in smaller quantities. Think a package containing 50, or perhaps a hundred pieces of each size (within what is applicable for the rc hobby) of each of those components. You could have 50 through-hole resistors of one size, 50 of another size, and so forth until the need of the most common used resistors in the rc hobby are filled. And similar for other components. That would enable a lot of people to make their own prototypes, or even simple electronics since not everyone wants to go chasing around the internet for a supplier of a spesific component, only to have to order many hundreds, or thousands, of those components when they only need a few of those components to make what they want. Having a package, that one could buy, which contained the most used components for the rc hobby, components of various sized, and in smaller quantities than if ordered directly from a manufactor, would make electronics a lot more accessible to many people.
    Think if FliteTest would sell such packages of components, in a similar way as their powerpacks.But rather than selling various sized components in different powerpacks, they could sell a sort of bundle pack, an asortment package if you will, containing a number, say 50 for simplicity, or a hundred, of each of the various sized pcb board components. Then rc hobbyists could purchase that bundle pack of pcb board components and be reasonably well set with components to make projects of their own.
    I would love such an assortment / bundle pack of pcb board components. Being interested in arduino I have come across kits containing some components needed in the projects the kits teaches you about and how to make. But the number of components in those kits are too few to really experiment on your own, and use in more projects of your own since you have to re-use components from other projects in a newer project. Or you could try ordering such components online, and having to order a few hundred of those components when you will only be using a couple of the components.
    In short, online ordering of such components are mostly for companies making various products using those components. They can order components in large bulks, since they produces products in large bulks. For amateurs there really are no good option, I have found, to get a hold of a smaller quantity of such components, of the sizes I am interested in for my projects.
    But FliteTest, being of the size they are, with the capability to make and distribute powerpacks, could fill a void in the market, by ordering a selection of pcb board components suited for rc, in large quantities, and then repackage the components into smaller asortment / bundle packs of components, and sell. Because if they did, I think many rc hobby shops would be interested in re-selling such a product, and I would probably buy such a products since it would be alot easier than having to hunt down a specific component for my use on my own.

      There are kits on Amazon with little cases that come with like a batch of 10-20 of all sorts of different components for a variety of uses.

      Good point! - Unfortunately the electronics industry seems to have focused on metric. I've almost forgotten where some of the pitch measurements originate from.

    • @avixs1543
      @avixs1543 2 роки тому +1

      @@tannerewing9361 Probably Because Electronics are manufactured in countries that use metric, isn't America the only Imperial Country Left? also metric is just easier to understand. I was was introduced to both as a kid and I still don't understand imperial its too confusing for me.
      like how 10,000 Millimeter = 1,000 Centimeter = 100 Meter = 0.1 Kilometer
      and 1kg of Water = 1Litre = 1000Cubic Centimeter
      Metric is sooooo much easier to convert between everything
      so things like a box which is 20cm x 5cm has an internal volume of 100cc OR 100 Milliliters of water.
      I Have no idea how to Calculate that in imperial, its just soo much cleaner in metric.

    • @tannerewing9361
      @tannerewing9361 2 роки тому +1

      Avixs yes I believe you are correct. But, like I always joke, there are two types of countries in the world, those who use the metric system and those who have landed on the moon…

    • @avixs1543
      @avixs1543 2 роки тому

      @@tannerewing9361 Well thats what happens when America wants to beat the Soviet Union more than anything else, They Pour all their money into it and since theres no Soviet Union Theres no more Moon landings Sadly :(

      @avixs1543 2 роки тому +1

      @@tannerewing9361 Also Didnt NASA switch to Metric in the 90s? or was that earlier I dont remember. either way Metric will probably replace imperial eventually, or something Akin to metric.

    Question, I'm replacing my ebike motor pcb board.
    The replacement has 7 holes/copper rings for wiring. Bu my original has 6 - 5V, GND, SP, H1, H2, and H3.
    The replacement has an additional ring for wiring labeled "K". What does K stand for in this case? Keyswitch, ohms, resistance? Can't find any information or diagrams online.
    And if I solder/connect the "regular" wires, will I have a problem if I leave "K" unsoldered?
    No info online + could use the help.

      It is perfectly normal to feel overwhelmed. It might take many dozens of videos about electronics basics to understand how things work. I would highly recommend looking at console repair videos (such as from mymatevince) to get a practical understanding of how things work. Even those videos might be confusing when you don't know too much, however you will take a little bit away from each.
