USCSB reports are *always* fun, and I never thought how well a conversation about them would fit into TNG era Star Trek, tho this joke is forced on purpose. In a world so disconnected from hardships of pre WW3 Earth one could find such presentations boring and problems trivial thinking that such accidents can't happen in 24th century thanks to modern tech and lack of greedy corporations. But then lack of safety etiquette leads to many preventable accident on starships and stations alike.
