great song but she cant win. It will be double crossed'n stabbed in the back by the friends of friends that will vote for each other like the Eastern Block Countries. Malta..barely anyone knows where it is on da map

i like the song, but destiny really elevates it with her voice and the way she performs it. staging will decide if this wins in my opinion

8.5/10. It took me a while to warm up to this song but the bridge is what sold me that this is quality. Destiny’s performance will be killer in Rotterdam.
I prefer "All of My Love" but Destiny is quality so she'll sail through no matter what. And although she might not be my favorite, I wouldn't be upset at all if she won - it would be deserved.

The only real comparisons I can see is that it's a "girl power anthem" and the "I'm not your plaything". But these are hardly exclusive to "Je me casse".
My number 1! It came out last and it won me over at first listen. She is amazing, music is cool and fresh, lyrics are sassy and relevant! 10/10!!!!!

I honestly much preferred all of my love. I just don’t like the chorus of this tbh it feels abrupt but it’s overall an above song and she’s the best singer in the competition 5.5/10

the couple of times i have seen destiny perform live she has blown me away with how absolutely flawless her vocals are consistently. really truly think its winning factors will be staging and how it compares to switzerland and france... hopefully our tiny island finally gets its opportunity to shine :))

8.5 for me I love the electro swing tribute to the 20s , vocals on point, the empower message is great and I know she will deliver in staging. Even though I want other favorites to win I would be happy if Malta took the win

Listened to the song once and completely forgot about it. Absolutely not my thing. I was surprised when I saw people saying that it's a possible winner. Listened to the song again, and yeah, still not my thing. But it's definitely gonna do well, fitting song for Eurovision.
Manizha's song speaks much more to me in terms of female empowerment. Maybe because I'm from Russia and it hits closer to home

Possibly although think Sweden and Finland have been overhype more than this, if anything people are making it very clear this song won't win lol. Personally if we're talking about upbeat songs I think San Marino and Greece are my favorite but no doubt Destiny got the vocals

In November 2020 I had stated that Malta has a singer good enough to win Eurovision, if she (Destiny) is given the right song. Once again I predicted the future haha.
Anyway, Je Me Casse is a bit of a mess, but an interesting one. I am having a hard time imagining it on stage, but if the stage show is on point, I won't mind if Malta wins, even if I prefer 8-10 other songs. At least a country will win for the first time ever, and Malta looks like an awesome host country.
But to be realistic, in recent years Malta has struggled to get a decent televoting result, even when they deserved it. So if the winner has to be in top 3 in both jury and televotes (as it has been until now), I doubt Malta's actual winning chances. France & Switzerland are more likely to win, and I prefer both over Malta.
Also some interesting facts about every potential winner:
🇲🇹:
- Destiny will become the first singer to win both JESC & ESC, thus leaving her mark on Eurovision history next to two times winner Johnny Logan.
- Destiny will become the first non-white singer to win Eurovision.
- Malta will become the second smallest country to win Eurovision, after Monaco of course.
- Malta will become the first island to host Eurovision in 2022, if we exclude UK & Ireland.
🇨🇵:
- France will become the first country to win both JESC & ESC in less than one year, which means they might host two Eurovisions next year.
- Barbara Pravi will become the first person to win both JESC (as a songwriter) & ESC (as a performer), again within less than a year.
- It will be only the second time a big 5 country wins the contest since that rule was introduced in 1997.
- Voilà will become the first song performed in French to win since 1988.
- France will achieve their 6th win after 44 years, the same amount of time that the Netherlands had waited for their 5th win.
🇨🇭:
- Again, Tout l'univers will become the first winning song performed in French since 1988, which happens to be Switzerland's most recent win.
- Switzerland will have won the 1st, 33rd & 65th editions of Eurovision, which is a pattern of winning every 32 contests. If Lugano hosts the contest next year the same pattern will apply for 33 years (1956, 1989, 2022).
- Gjon's Tears will become the first Eurovision winner of Albanian descent (since Eleni Foureira didn't make it in 2018).

it's probably the most overhyped song of the year i just don't get it. i also think the fandom is delusional cause she's had this hype around her long before any other entries were released cause lots of people know her from jesc but the general public won't care about that. although destiny has good vocals it's not surprising for anyone, i mean get real. it's 2021, we've all heard vocals like mariah carey, christina aguilera blah blah. destiny isn't the first one to have this kind of voice. the song itself isn't doing anything for me, even deban admitted that demo was borderline listenable and i don't think just destiny's vocals are enough to turn this meh song into something incredible. overall boring for me. i wouldn't skip it but i wouldn't loop it either. i wish she competed with a song like the mamas' last year.
I wish I could see the appeal. I feel left out. The song is not bad at all, I'm happy for all the praises she got but it's not for me and it's fine.

Destiny , already won somehow as Her name as an international artist is To be reckonned.
I think this year Malta has a song that could really go for gold and I wouldn't mind if that actually happens. I think the song is catchy, I adored it when I was listening to it for the first time and I still do. Also she would be the first to win JESC and ESC and how epic would that be.

Malta = 7 - I don’t think it’s the winner however I still love this song and the message she’s bringing. I particularly love the bridge and the pre-choruses, my least favourite part is the instrumental. I think Destiny brings so much sass and charisma to the song and I wish her luck.

I am personally not the biggest fan of the electro swing sounds (perhaps I have electro velvet flashbacks!) and I much preferred the sound of last year's song, but still a pretty good effort. Strong 6.5/10, pushing a 7

I love Destiny and I like this song, but for my personal taste I like All of my Love better.
So this song is in my top 10, but not my winner. I just don't have the urge to listen to this song over and over again like other songs this year.
My girl Destiny has everything to win.
Even if she doesn't win, it won't stop her music world domination path.
For me in Semi Final n°01 she is my number 07/17 and in total 13/39. By a french fan. I like it but i'm not crazy about it. But if she win not gonna be mad.

I think Destiny is 1000 x better than the song. I don't find it very memorable and I'm curious to see how she will do with the televote because there's no question that the juries will lap this up.
I totally agree with Deban here! I wasn't a huge fan of Destiny's song at first listen, but I can't stop listening and singing along to the symphonic version, and when I listened to the original version I liked it more! It's my around my 15th place I would say

The fact that there is so much talent on Malta and the delegation decided to buy a Melfest reject completely produced by Swedes, even the dancers and the staging director are Swedes. Malta really abandoned their own people, a shame.
The song itself meh, I’d give it a 6/10, Malta y’all can do better. I’m disappointed, at least Destiny can sing.

Italy 2020 and Bulgaria 2020 were both better than any of the 2021 entries.
Material for the TOP 5, but not to win. The performance will depend on whether she wins or not, and I hope she doesn’t look like a 40-year-old woman.
As I always keep pointing out, I listen to the full Eurovision playlist on shuffle, in the background, with the screen off.
It got my attention, it stood out. But it wasn't a favorite for me. I actually liked her entry from last year. Don't get me wrong, I like it. It's just not in my list of favorites.
I gotta agree with Deban: she deserves a better song.
That said, I won't mind if this wins. 🙂
