I think in the video Chris, Ricky, and Ryan represent something/anyone who has gone through mental health. Chris- being trapped by his own self, and defeating the bad in the end. Ricky- not listening to himself, and at the end coming to term with himself. Ryan- knowing something is wrong but not doing anything, but then finally confronts the bad.

This song is probably my top favorite of MIW. The reason why this song is my favorite is because I deal with severe anxiety, depression, and intrusive thoughts that are brought on by OCD. I feel like this song describes the irrational fears that stem from the conditions I deal with on a daily basis. The irrational thoughts and fears are the "voices" in my head. I'm glad this song was made by MIW because it helped me realize that other people out there deal with the same things as me and obviously deal with other personal demons then the stuff i mentioned above. This song gives me hope to keep battling the demons and realize I'm not alone.

Like many other people in the comments, this song is important to me aswell. I spent a decade of my life being scared, having one mindset - mostly negative unfortunately. Growing up with a controlling brother, narcisstic personalities and so much more. Your music helped me get through it all. I was taught at a young age to obey what my brother wanted while I was neglected and seen my mom constantly get told what to do. My mom passed from stage 4 a year ago and I still struggle with every heart wrenching thing I seen growing up. I was the light in the darkness for my mother and my heart hurts that I couldn't save here although I tried. I miss my mom. She's finally free from him. But I wanted her to be free while she was still here... :(

I haven't had as hard of a life as some people have, but most of the crap I've dealt with has made me hate myself because I feel like I have failed my friends and family. Like many other people in the comments, this song is important to me aswell. I spent a decade of my life being scared, having one mindset - mostly negative unfortunately. Growing up with a controlling brother, narcisstic personalities and so much more. Your music helped me get through it all. I was taught at a young age to obey what my brother wanted while I was neglected and seen my mom constantly get told what to do. My mom passed from stage 4 a year ago and I still struggle with every heart wrenching thing I seen growing up. I was the light in the darkness for my mother and my heart hurts that I couldn't save here although I tried. I miss my mom. She's finally free from him. But I wanted her to be free while she was still here... :(

I've had a lot of thoughts in my past that don't sit well with my conscience, but they cross my mind anyway. It's hard to find the motivation to keep living when I think of all the pain I've caused to other people and myself. It makes me wonder what makes life worth living. I haven't had as hard of a life as some people have, but most of the crap I've dealt with has made me hate myself because I feel like I have failed my friends and family. It's hard to talk about because they mean a lot to me, and I don't want them to know how I feel about myself. It might be for different reasons, but nonetheless, I keep it all inside. Either way, it's a true statement in general. \m/
