Perfect get-up there at 11:00. It would make a good ski-school demo.

Thanks for posting. I'm a C-7 who's been skiing a couple years here in Ohio. I skied off tether and love it. I am glad you showed transfers into and out of the adaptive ski and getting on and getting off the lift. I cannot do that yet with the bi-ski we use here. It's not as high tech as yours. I especially liked seeing you get back up from a fall. That is a difficult maneuver. I was encouraged by your example. I cannot believe you can haul your equipment over the snow. Well done.

+James Ferguson Hi James, glad you enjoyed it. It was the biggest part of my life missing after tha accident. I tried it in 2001 and 2003 and decided I would get indepoendant without my own gear which was a financial challenge. Met a guy locally and now him and I go to Cardrona in South Island of New Zealand for 6 weeks a year as it is the easiets of the NZ skikields from a disability point of view. I suggest you have a good look around on the web at what gear is available that will suit you. The gear is improving all the time. I am sure the more independant you can't get the more fun it will be. At least you up there doing it mate. Good on you! Andrew

Boy, I am REALLY inspired now! I was severely injured and then also developed MS. At the end of my 8 month stay in a care facility, they rewarded me with a trip at my local ski area. Naturally I was lucky enough to use a bi-sit ski. It inspired me to want more! Now, like you I need to find a way to afford my love of 40 years.Thank you sooooo much!

Hi Nick, thanks for the comment. I wanted others like me to see you can get up the hill again and be independant and hopefully take some of the fear out of people giving it ago. I shatered L1 coming off a quad bike.

Cool video. I'm a T5 para and I've done several lessons over the years, but haven't done it enough to become independent. What kind of ski is that?
