- It's that time of year again! That's right: It's November, and that means it's time for the Inkvent Spoiler Video With Audrey! Each year she opens the doors, unwraps the 25 bottles, swatches all of them, and then gives YOU a video tour of this year's Diamine Inkvent Calendar!
I don't like spoilers, but Audrey is generous and is giving you the spoilery video that you need to decide if this year's Inkvent is for you. I'll be bringing you videos all throughout December with each day's color. (Please don't mention specifics about the stuff in the video in the comments so that folks can remain un-spoiled if they choose.)

According to Wiki, Bucks Fizz is usually served at Christmas day breakfast in the UK. Interesting to learn different traditions from other countries!

Thank you Audrey. Loved watching your video. Your descriptions were so real I felt like I was right there with you. So real that when you were describing the smell of the Cinnabon I actually put my nose to my phone. And then laughed like crazy.
Trust me, it definitely smelled like cinnamon. Just add a little to a sample of KWZ and you’ll get a vanilla Cinnabun! 😂

The jacaranda and lavender frost are definitely my favourites this year! I never purchase the advent calendar (too expensive) but I love the little bottles they come in when they release the colours later so I tend to buy one or two of them a year. Thanks for the review!

I always love your Inkvent spoiler videos, Audrey. But then I was the kid who opened and re-wrapped their Christmas presents (slit and tape). You do a great job of describing the colors too! The color you called taupe, Weeping Willow, looked a lot on screen like a very close dupe for the now discontinued - and much lamented - Iroshizuku Ina Ho. Thanks for another great video this year, and I'll still watch Mike's day-by-day version as well.
That’s so funny because I was always the kid that would never think to peek and would feel guilty about it. I think it’s the fact that the Inkvent is a gift to myself, whereas those are presents from others which are not to be touched. Anyway, thank you so much for watching! 💜 I’m curious how similar Weeping Willow will be to Ina Ho (I’m sure Mike will be pulling the comparisons and will show us in due time).
OMG I was the child that accidentally ripped the corner 😳 of my 🎁 gifts just to get a little sneak peek but my parents were onto my little trick so they'd wrap it in a random box🤣😇🥰
@@renois1 LOL! I am the oldest of six, and my poor parents went to heroic lengths to hide our Christmas presents, but my brothers could *always* find them. My brothers' worst trick was to switch the contents either for something they liked better or as a joke on another brother. Fun times. Have a very happy holiday!

@cupper82 I love the color they selected but truth be told I'm terrified to put that in any of my pens but I do practice Cooperplate Calligraphy with an Oblique holder with pointed pen nibs so I will definitely be using it to create some Christmas cards
This year’s calendar is already a lot better than last year’s. A lot of unique colours compared to previous year’s.
Thank you for doing a spoiler video! I don't purchase the Inkvents, but I do enjoy seeing all the colors, and it's such a time-saver to see them all at once!
It’s a time-saver, but is still a long video. I just can’t seem to make them shorter! I always want to make sure to describe them the best that I can.
Bucks fizz is a champagne cocktail with orange juice, so the name is right for the ink. It’s also an English band who won the Eurovision song contest.

Now that makes me wonder what the difference is between a Bucks Fizz and a mimosa - also a champagne and orange juice drink. Mimosas are a family holiday brunch fave.
ETA: I just Googled it - Bucks Fizz is 2 parts champagne to 1 part oj, while a mimosa is 1/2 and 1/2. So I just learned that my family has been drinking Bucks Fizzes all these years instead of mimosas! 🙂
Nice descriptions of the colours. Glad I did not get this one though. Soooo much shimmer and I rarely use them.
You definitely have to like shimmer to enjoy the whole thing. If a couple really call your name, you can always get a sample when they come out individually.

Yeah, 6 out of 25 isn’t bad. I can think of a handful that were just “fine” after looking them over a second time.
Yes, but I am not too much of a glitter girl and not splashy with the inks, I just write with them. I go for darker inks. That gold and Bucks Fizz is startling which is on my " not so great inks" In this batch. My favorite is the greens and reds. But my favorite color is blue which is hard to choose which one. As cupper82 said, I will need to look at them again.
Right now I am really enjoying FWP Green w/ Curiosity which It is not in this Inkvent for some who do not know. Thanks Audrey for doing this. I really enjoy your videos with the animals. When are you going to get ink on the cats---LMBO!!!!@@inkdependence

Gteat job! I never buy the Inkvent calendar -- just not worth it for me -- but I really enjoy seeing the colors and will eventually probably buy a few as samples or bottles when they come out. Your spoiler video is the best!

Not sure if I’ve overlooked someone else pointing this out, but I think Jacaranda is pronounced with an H sound at the beginning rather than a J (thanks, Encanto soundtrack!)
I’ve now learned that both are valid, but the J sound tends to be used in English! So I stand corrected 😂
I haven't seen this ink yet, but I'm sure I'll say it incorrectly. It's one I've only seen in print. Maybe I'll visit a pronunciation site first...
