I almost exclusively play Bonus Deuces now. I never hold two toward a royal like you do. Obviously that's the strategy for non-deuces games, but if you only hold two to a royal, you're only playing for the royal or a straight flush leaving 4 Deuces and 5s of a kind on the table. I only play for the natural royal if I'm dealt at least 3 of the cards. When I play Deuces, my strategy is to play for the 4 Deuces, not the royal. This includes never holding a straight if a deuce is dealt.
at 10:51 if you have kept the ace you would have 5 of them, when playing bonus deuces wild holding the ace is a must, simply because it's the "bonus".
