How they think they came up with mixer ppl was tired of using they hands 😂 im so grateful for this video ❤ and ppl just because this is homemade it’s the same for store brought icing you can whip it with ya good ole left & right 🤣🫶🏽
My 11 year old daughter made this frosting today in two batches. One was made with the same amount of milk as the recipe above and one with slightly less. They both came out fluffy and delicious. The frosting was quick and easy to make.
I like these older videos, I’m watching this 3/2/23 Sometimes I prefer the peace and stress relief of quietly making cake or cookies for my family, and surprising them without the noise of my stand mixer, it’s fun to see my husband, or adult brother pop in once the smell of home made dessert wafts thru the house.
THANK YOU. I know this is an old video, but I just wanted to let you know that it was extremely helpful for me. I haven't baked in a while and couldn't find my blender.
Rodnie Duran I meant a mixer, not a blender, but it looks like it may be possible to use a blender. The trick appears to be using the pulse setting, at least for this brand: www.blendtec.com/blogs/news/4-easy-frosting-recipes
I don't own a mixer, never have. My dad owned a pastry business, quite successful too, and he made his workers mix buttercream by hand. He told me that when people put more effort into making something, they tend to do it better than cutting corners. I totally get that it's easy to just use a mixer, etc, but I see his point too. It also isn't that hard. What this lady showed us, in reality, takes about 1-2 minutes of extra time and is a good workout. I am convinced that the time it takes you to go over to your cupboard, get your mixer or, or plug it in, get everything ready takes about 60 seconds anyway, and by this time, you're almost done with the manual hand mixing process.
For everyone who is saying it's disgusting it's not the frosting its your cooking. And also the people who stand up to the haters are amazing because haters are rude so shut up
I absolutely love this video because that lady shows you how to make buttercream icing without the use of a nasty high-pitched mixer. I prefer to do it exactly the same way she did it, just because I don't have a mixer, nor do I want one, because it sounds bad. What a great video!
TURNED OUT PERFECT!!! i used one and a half teaspoons of milk. just pour it in little by little, and stop when it looks good! thanks for the recipie. :)))
Thanks so much! I am baking a vanilla cake tomorrow (first time) using a tutorial and I don't have an electric mixer for the buttercream frosting :( but this video gave me the work around and solution!
This is great quality for being 10 yrs old. I’m about to bake my bf a cake for his bday and wanted to make my own frosting as the store bought is just too sweet. I don’t have a mixer so this is a Perfect video!!
Thank you so much for this very well done video. I tried doing this before and my mistake was just adding everything together at the same time, after creaming the butter. The sugar and the milk have to be added gradually. otherwise, you end up with what I had.. . clumpy white chunks that look awful on the cake. Thanks again!
Haters of this video please shut up. Because this woman is trying to help those who don't have a mixer to make the frosting. A big thumbs up to you mam
FINALLY found the old fashioned way to do it. None of my ancestors or relatives used a mixer for anything but I don't remember how my late relatives made frosting without a mixer. Learned at a bakery, but don't have a mixer or a hand mixer either.
old vid but you earned yourself a sub!!! this was so so so helpful since my mixer broke and i forgot i didn’t have it anymore and i needed to make icing!!
Thank you so much for making this doable!! Going to a friends house to make a cake and she doesn’t have a mixer. I also don’t want to use 10 cups of powdered sugar and a pound of butter 👍✨
Thank you so much for explaining the technique when mixing by hand! I was struggling trying to mix the butter (although it was really soft) with the powdered sugar. It was my first time making it from scratch and I am saving towards an electric mixer 😊❤
How she is a beautiful lady Thank you for the amazing effort I know that it's difficult to do without an electric mixer and maybe your hands are tired but still you did it 👍🏻 People try to appreciate what can others do for you 😏 Thank you again 🌹💕
i wish i had the money for an electric mixer but nah no money, gotta do it the hard way. wishing those people with cash lying around would buy me a electric mixer HAHAHHA
Caen loh it’s my bday tmrw and my stupid friend said she will buy me a hand mixer. Now she says she doesn’t have any money. 🙄she has more money than me. I gave her Halloween supplies and last year I gave her 40 dollars worth of apple cards. She is also too stubborn to ask her dad for money when I asked my Aunty for money for her birthday present. Ugh
Omg Thanks for your help I literally suck a buttercream frosting this recipe is bomb my mixer does not work that well so this recipe was the best recipe I’ve ever done in the world and even with the mixer I couldn’t make a good frosting
Thanks! you such a sweet beauty.. i made it this way and it turned out so good. I had been avoiding making buttercream because I don't have a mixer but you proved that we can do it without it too!!! Thanks a ton!!!!!❤️❤️
I've never used milk! I think that's why I'd been having trouble. I do have a metal bowl that I usually use so using my wire whisk works for me. Much less effort needed to make it fluffy... I don't have a mixer appropriate for baking preparation... Gonna try this now!
seriously good icing. It was soo yummy. I didn't add any vanilla extract but it hardly made a difference. I'm making a youtube channel. I'll be recommending vids, thanks.
I'm just glad this lady is proving to us that IT CAN BE DONE without a mixer. Thanks for the video.
😂🐤🐇🐣
Thank God they invented hand mixers! Whew!! 🤗🤗🤗😀😊
I agree. I was just saying to myself do I really need to do this with a mixer 🤦♀️
How they think they came up with mixer ppl was tired of using they hands 😂 im so grateful for this video ❤ and ppl just because this is homemade it’s the same for store brought icing you can whip it with ya good ole left & right 🤣🫶🏽

I definitely needed this video, my family is asleep and it’s 4 AM yet I have the urge to make cupcakes lol
Thanks for this! Exactly what I needed for a secret mother's day cake. Couldn't risk waking her up with the mixer 😊
Here I though I was the only one 👀 in making her vanilla cupcakes for her bday as a surprise
Hey lady!! I just love your efforts on showing how it's done without blender....really appreciate it from bottom of my heart....💓

I will buy you a mixer if you pay off my hospital bill!!!
Thank you today is my dads birthday and I can’t find the mixer

I love this lady so much I was baking my friend a birthday cake thinking I had frosting and I didn't but this helped so much and now her cakes done

This is useful for those of us that bake in very small batches. A mixer doesn't work when making 1/4 or 1/8 of a recipe as I do when baking for two.
I did it and thought it was delicious
Thanks! you such a sweet beauty.. i made it this way and it turned out so good. I had been avoiding making buttercream because I don't have a mixer but you proved that we can do it without it too!!! Thanks a ton!!!!!❤️❤️

Beat it by hand for 25 strokes and the check for consistency! ! Beat it, beat it rapidly! I lost it at that point hahahaha!!
Turned out amazing! Loved this video definitely will watch more of your videos
I made with whisk and it comes consistency and it works and delicious. I figured it out with more sugar
I'm about to make cake for my sister but i don't have mixer for the frosting. This is a hig help! Thank you! ❤️
Great help. Used my own recipe, but the method here worked a charm
Thank you, tried it once and even now i am going to try again
...okay wow. I admire her tenacity. I'm using my stand mixer haha.

its icing its supposed to be runny frosting is thicker and fluffier if you want frosting use less milk and this is half a recipe
Very nicely explained.Thanks for sharing.
For the first time someone made it showing every bit of procedure instead of a fast forward version
Great details.my daughter b day coming up can't wait to make butter cream cup cakes🤗

seriously good icing. It was soo yummy. I didn't add any vanilla extract but it hardly made a difference. I'm making a youtube channel. I'll be recommending vids, thanks.
thank you very much for this tutorial this way easier to me since i dont use a mxer
Wow nice but does it taste good... i mean its looking just like butter mixed with milk not really buttercream and there are no spikes too
Thank you for sharing, I tried it qbd it came out perfectly
Yeah i agree its runny for a frosting. But the least you could do is be nice in the comment section when somebody's putting so much effort🙄
1/2 cup butter
