The market and the Fed consistently underestimate the sticky nature of inflation. The markets are still unsure if the Federal Reserve will continue to its plan to raise interest rates until inflation is under control, despite the fact that bond yields are rising while stock prices are falling. What is the greatest strategy to take advantage of the current bear market while I'm still deciding whether to sell my $400k worth of stocks?

Even though there will probably be more pain in the future, investors should look for stocks like Royal Philips NV and Alstom SA that have been sufficiently battered down to be a bargain or get a great portfolio manager.

I wholeheartedly concur; I'm 60 years old, just retired, and have about $1,250,000 in non-retirement assets. Compared to the whole value of my portfolio during the last three years, I have no debt and a very little amount of money in retirement accounts. To be completely honest, the information provided by invt-advisors can only be ignored but not neglected. Simply undertake research to choose a trustworthy one.

There are a handful of experts in the field. I've experimented with a few over the past years, but I've stuck with ‘’Aileen Gertrude Tippy” for about five years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, look-her up.

Markets still deluding themselves that this isn't bad news. They've shifted their expectations of a rate cut from March to June. What happens when there's no cut in June?

So maybe the January CPI were more the solid/accurate readings and less on the consensus position, the dismissive side of ... Jan. anomalous, seasonality-variance. Mr. Santelli says "Those numbers are on the move." Ooh-Yeeah they are ... AnNot'n'uhGudWay ... 😐

Making a rising inflation problem even worse is the Israel and Ukraine War wild cards. We forecast both wars will escalate and should Iran become militarily involved and/or oil-rich Arab nations impose an oil embargo, Brent crude will spike to above $130 per ounce which, in turn, will crash economies and equity markets.

What does this have to do directly with Biden? How is Biden going to change the 3.8 back to 3.7 or 3.6? It is still 0.4 vs 0.4. If anything, blame the corporation.

most of inflation (9% rise in 2022) was because of the pandemic, so not really Biden's fault. Although govt spends way too much on their fiscal budget, this is really a problem with both parties. You may also not agree with them letting in all those migrants, but believe it or not, they will help lower inflation because those low paying wages will lower overall prices.

IT keeps going up, wrong way to even consider a rate cut. But Fed is too Data dependent, yeah, the data shows no reason for a cut in terms of inflation.

The fed reserve needs to go. They made this mess by printing to much money and lending to easily. Congress needs to slash spending and we need a recession to bring prices down. Cant believe 4 years ago Chikfila meal cost $5, now it’s $11.
