We need science diplomacy, says Fernanda De Oliveira Lana

Fernanda De Oliveira Lana, a Researcher at the Brazilian Platform for Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (BPBES) and Scientific Producer for National Geographic (FOX ‐ NatGeo), was one of the participants in the 10th AAAS-TWAS Course on Science and Diplomacy, which took place in Trieste, Italy, on June 19-23, 2023. The aim of the course, launched in 2014 with key funding from the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), is to ensure that the results of scientific research can be used in real-world policy decisions.
