Saving grace episode 3

I opened my eyes ending the flash back. I felt so stupid, I was young, naive. I closed my eyes, and saw Joe's face. Laughing at me, calling me a stupid kid. I didn't want to remember, didn't want to feel. I pushed my self of the bed and walked over to the mini fridge. I pulled the door open, grabbed a beer and downed it in a matter of seconds. Then I opened the door and did it again, and I kept doing it until I felt sleepy and passed out on the floor. When I woke up, my head pounded. It was a rhythm in my head. BOOM BOOM POW! BOOM BOOM POW! Ugh I thought with frustration, this sucks. I pulled my self of the floor, feeling nauseous. I had to leave, I doubt that Joe had paid for another night. I picked the few pieces of rags that I called clothing out of my closet and threw them in a worn out bag. Then faced the question, where do I go next? I sighed, threw the bag over my shoulder and walked out . Joe had introduced me to some of his "friends." Most of them pot heads and drug dealers, but I was desperate. I had no money so even if I wanted to I couldn't go back home. I could hitch hike, but some for some reason that seemed more dangerous then Joe's friends. I would have to take my chances. After all, desperate people do desperate things.
