I had a saying: if you come to see me, come any time. If you come to see my house, make an appointment. You have your priorities straight because you commit yourself to your family and community first. Love these cards. Gorgeous colors.
The alcohol ink backgrounds are gorgeous, the end results with the pumpkins and leaves have made gorgeous cards! I love fall, the colors, the smells and the temperature, it my favorite seasons and the shortest! And on the subject of cleaning, if the kitchen and bathrooms are clean, the the rest is just dust. There are too many things in life to do and share with family that are more important. I’m 74, have raised three boys, have four grandchildren and now I am a caregiver to a hubby that has Alzheimer’s! If people come and see the dust, I just hand them the swifter! Hugs!💜🤗🍁🍂
Just remember, Kelly...no one’s legacy will ever be that they had a neat house. Homes are meant to be lived in. Being a good person is what people will remember...along with your crazy art talent. Can I just say...THOSE PUMPKINS!!! Wow. 🧡
My mother use to also say when u die No one will remember what house you lived in (how clean it was), what car you drove, they will remember how you made them feel, wether you were good to them or not, if u loved people and treated them kind, so don't always worry about the house and that has really stuck with me throughout my life. I miss her a lot! I feel my Mom was a wise woman!!!
Kelly these pumpkins are gorgeous!! I don’t post a lot but I felt I had too. I have 2 labs, a cat, a lizard, two boys 18 and 20, and a husband. My house as you call it is very often a hot mess. I used to dust, run the sweeper, etc just about everyday. 9 years ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had surgery, chemo and radiation. I still tried to keep the house clean as best I could with the help of the boys and my husband. But when I couldn’t finish cleaning my bedroom and had to have my mother come and finish I lost it. That’s when I realized spending time with my family was more important than my house being perfectly clean, so I started doing more with the kids and worried less about a spotless house. As you said we live in our house. Sorry for the long rant I just felt I needed to share.
So, so glad that you're ok. I'm sure your family would much rather have you around and healthy than to have a spotless house. And I'm sure it's cleaner than mine.
Beautiful! I love Fall. In South Texas we don’t have changing colors (or seasons). I’m with you on the house cleaning. I have kids, animals, a farm to run, a stress-filled 60 hour per week job, and help take care of my elderly mother. My priority is not de-cluttering. My ex-husband’s sister told me when my daughter was four weeks old and I had just had three major surgeries and nearly died: “What are you doing with your time? You need to clean this place!” I asked her, “Why is that any of your business? If you don’t like it, you don’t have to come here.” The next time she came, I told her I couldn’t let her in because my house wasn’t up to her standards. I closed the door and didn’t speak to her again until my daughter’s college graduation. Worked out fine!
I am one of those Fall fanatics...I loved these cards. What you said about house cleaning really resonated with me...I ended up being a single mom of two boys 7 years apart in age having said that there always seemed to be cleaning to be done...which I did for a while. Then my priorities changed to spending time with them and doing activities that made memories however small and I never regretted making that change. I kept my kitchen clean for obvious reasons and the rest of the house was cleaned as needed but we enjoyed having furry family members living in the house with us and I read something that basically said that if someone is coming to my home to check out my cleaning they didn't need to come.....I embraced that philosophy and never looked back. I had friends and family who came often and I didn't care about the rest. Not sure why I shared all of this but here it is. As always, thanks so much for all that you do!!
My Dear Kelly, I noticed that women who have houses so clean it looks that no one lives there either have a house cleaner or very dull lives. You work 3 jobs, are raising a child, enjoying art and life and provide others with inspiration. As long as you can find a clean dish and the toilet is clean who cares what the rest of the house looks like. Love you much
Hi Kelly, THANK YOU!!! Thank you for your housekeeping story. You will never know how much it meant. Its hard when you think less of yourself because this "dang" house has never been my top priority. I totally suck at housekeeping, always have, always will. So many people have judged me, including family. I raised 3 boys and now my world is filled with 4 dogs. I live in the south so there is no basement...so HELLOOOO....its all right here!!!! LOL I have a craft room but have no clue on how to organize it, where to begin, or the patience to try. Oh, I can clean it, but god only knows where anything will be when i want to use it. My house is not a mess. Its a tad bit cluttered, a tad bit lived in, and a tad bit outdated. And YES, ive done the "cringe when the doorbell rings" :( But at least now I sure dont feel so bad!
I have a couple of comments Kelly a) I love these cards!!!, and b) recently I saw a comment on FB that read "I believe, God would not have made me so creative, if he wanted me to clean the house everyday." My daughter has a husband, 3 boys, 2 dogs and 2 cats - I told her she would not have a tidy house unless everyone left home! And then all she'd have is a tidy house. Nobody on their death bed thinks "I wish I had spent more time housekeeping!" Live on, and enjoy life.
Just keep your sweeper in the middle of the room, a few signed get well cards in view & no one will ever question your housekeeping! Lol! Just keep enjoying your life and making beautiful cards! 💗
I live in New England, home of the leaf peeper. I’m a summer person and fall just means dark and cold are upon us. As to your house not being “clean,” just remember that it isn’t a reflection on the kind of person you are. I’m a very organized person, but my home is comfortable and inviting to all who enter. Don’t sweat the small stuff. If it stresses you out, then hire someone to come in once a month and do some light housekeeping, provided you can afford it. Or do a swap with a couple of friends. You take their kid to school for a week and they come to your house and dust and vacuum. Something along those lines. Anyway, you do you and don’t worry about what other people think.!
Your house cleaning story totally resonated with me today, Kelly! I grew up with a mother who did the house cleaning on a weekly schedule, and being the only child who was capable of helping (my brother has special needs), I had to help. I can remember having to dust my room as early on as 5 years old! Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but it just isn’t “me.” My house will never be as clean as my mother would like, which is OK with me. My 2 girls, my hubby and I are all just fine! The only people that even come to our house are his family, and they don’t say anything, to me anyway. Every once in awhile, though, the clutter is overwhelming, and today was one of those days. Thanks for the reminder that I am not alone in this! ❤️❤️❤️. Beautiful cards, Kelly!
I always love your cards. You are so very talented. On a side note, I always go with the philosophy that my house is clean enough to be healthy and dirty enough to be happy! Hope you enjoy your new fur baby Emma (:
Oh please, can I get an AMEN for a healthy mess!!! People won’t remember a person for anything except for how they made them feel, soooo, we’re going to enjoy this journey in life together, we support one another and it’s wonderful how we all share in that!!! This card is fabulous, just like you Kelly!!! So excited about Emma!!!! Praying 🙏...Thanks, as always, for sharing your time and creativity, YOU ROCK!!!
I love fall colors because I am a fall person. Love, Love the cards. As far as the housekeeping is concerned, I myself am very organized just because that is me. I am a rancher/farmers wife and before I was married, I was that way. It's a plus for my husband and was for our kiddos before they grew up and left home. Now when someone would make a statement which I feel is a little rude about a the house not being clean, please ignore them. Their suppose to be coming to see you not the house. So keep your house in the way you want.
Hi Kelly BEAUTIFUL CARD!!! I watch your cards as soon as I see them post - you are my go to for inspiration. Okay side note here with an opinion from a 53 year old crafter, mom of 2 adult children and 3 grandchildren that has run companies. At work I am super organized because I have to be. At home ... I am organized, but my house is not company ready for someone with judgement in mind. If you come to see me - come see me lets laugh and have a good time. If you are coming to see my house - make an appointment because it MUST be on the market. When I am dead and gone - I PROMISE YOU my husband, kids, nor grandchildren or friends will say I wish she would have kept a better house. They will miss me and the times we have shared. As long as it is not a health hazard find your degree of what you need to happen for a "clean" living space and enjoy life PEANUT WILL GROW UP WAY TOO FAST! Okay enough said ... ready for your next card and story. Love you!
Stick with what you are good at and what makes you happy. Your cards are beautiful and I learn so much from you. As far as house cleaning, your home is yours. People need to stop telling others how to live their lives.
I Love your fall cards. They gave me an Idea for my daughters birthday cards. She is a Halloween baby. I grew up in a very strict house cleaning family. Like the house looked show room type. It never looked like we lived there. My mother was an extreme neat freak (OCD). When my parents divorced I lived with my father during school breaks and summer. Then vice verse the following year with my mom. My dads home looked lived in. Not messy, maybe cluttered, but lived in. For me I didnt have to feel like I had to be on my toes 24/7. Fat forward many years later and I have my own family. I didnt want my kids to live the way I did with my mother, (always afraid to leave something out of place or a mess). Fast forward again, my kids are now adults and the oldest has her own child. Their house is lived in, not messy, maybe a bit cluttered (4 people in one house= herself, son, boyfriend and her brother) but they are happy. The house is lived in, dishes are always clean and carpets and floors kept. They have animals as do we. My point is I never judge people when I go to their house. Everyone is different on house keeping. My mother is still extreme OCD. My sister complains all the time to me. My dad is still laid back. But I can tell ya If I need to scrub my house to be sterile my mother sure taught me how to do that and I am thankful for that. Praying that your family gets a new four legged baby!!!
I always think that if your kitchen and bathroom areas are clean, so you don't get sick, who cares what the rest looks like. If people don't like the mess then they don't have to look at it. It's your life and you should live it how you want and not how others think you should be living. Also beautiful cards.
Love the cards! As far as cleaning house, I used to stress about having a clean house and I had 4 kids and a job and kids in sports, band, cheerleading and NEVER home! My house was a mess always but from the words of my grandmother “there is clean dirt and there is dirty dirt” my kiddos came first, now I have all the time in the world to clean house because all my kiddos are on their own! Also love the name of your newest addition. I had an Emma up until last year.
Love these cards kelly and I’m definitely a summer girl. You never mind those rude comments about housekeeping. If they don’t like the way you keep house then don’t come and visit. It’s your home you run it your way. I always say if your coming to check out my house then don’t bother coming over. My word your working all these hours and caring for a young son, as long as he is safe and loved well that’s all that matters. You are such a giving person no one has the right to criticize. A home is lived in a house is well just that.
I forgot you’re a fellow summer lover. We are a rare breed and I catch a lot of grief about my lack of fall love lol. People are weird about their season love. I mean I don’t hate it but summer is where it’s at. Also who cares if your house is a mess. Mine is generally very tidy because I can’t stand mess. We all have different ticks 😂 I don’t clean out of caring what others think I do it for my own sanity.
Beautiful cards as always Kelly. I love Autumn and all the cards , but I live in a part of Australia that is always warm or Stinking hot, so I just have to live vicariously through everyone who does have an Autumn😘
Another 'Fall Fanatic' here ... my favorite time of the year :-) Love love love the pumpkins, they just glow. I am glad no one 'drops' in on me, I find alot of other things to do instead of cleaning - card making for one .. lol :-)
These cards are so pretty! I'm a Fall baby (9/11!), so Autumn is my fav... even though it lasts like 4 weeks in New England, lol. Anyway, I just love the change of seasons, cooler evenings, etc. I'm not opposed to hot summer days at the beach! Those are great, too. I can totally relate to your anxiety over people coming to judge your home. I am not the best housekeeper. I try to keep my living room, kitchen and guest bathroom presentable but... you know, it's not always that way. I've sort of given up caring when people stop by unannounced... I live like this and it's not crazy dirty, just cluttery. So whatever! I have no kids to blame. It's just me, DH and 2 dogs... who bring in a LOT of dirt (I'm sure you know). So, anyhoo, I hope you get the doggie! That's always exciting. Good luck!
Love you for what you said about housekeeping. Even though I sometimes hate the chaos around me. Love you for the story about the fish a week ago, so recognisable. Love you for the cards you make, the inspiration you give, as an artist as well as a person. Love you for your lessons in English by speaking so rapidly that it really costs me to understand, but it works! Conclusion: I do enjoy your videos, so keep on making them, please. And I'm pretty sure your house will endure the suffering in the meantime 😉
Your personal life is your own. On the housecleaning thing, I like a space that looks lived in. I tend to clean as I go, so there will always be a few spaces which I don't use often which aren't spotless. I love the background colors - very fall - like.
Finally! Someone like me. Im not a good housekeeper. Fortunately my husband loves to clean. I hate it. If i pick up a broom he takes it away from me and tells me i dont have a license to drive it! So we do very well together. I cook. He does dishes. I do the household accounts he keeps the house clean. Thats why we have lasted 43 years! But i do get criticism for being lazy and "making him" clean. I dont make him do anything. We choose to live this way. And i still have 2 jobs. He is retired. Quite frankly if the house is messy it wouldn't really bother me that much. And if people dont want to visit because of a messy house then i say stay away. Visit because you want to see the person not the state of their home. A bit of untidiness never killed anyone. Ps love the cards. Ive never tried alcohol and probably wont because it's just another product i would probably get addicted to and i cant afford new "stuff". Already have too much "stuff" that never gets used.
First I have to say if anyone comes to my house to check how clean/not clean it is, they don’t need to be comin’! I only want people to come see ME. When I was younger I cleaned all the time, this is before I had a child. After I had my son I still cleaned but not like before and I still had a full time job. After I stopped working I had the time to clean but I wanted to do more with my son, he was the priority. My son is 26 and doesn’t even live at home anymore but he and other things are still more important. Just sayin. Beautiful cards by the way. I love fall.
Happy Birthday Kelly! Fall is my absolute favorite time of year! I love these pumpkins and the cards are amazing! My home is cluttered, but clean, happy and full of love and welcomes everyone. It’s not spotless but I learned after cancer that what matters is how I love, live and treat others.
Beautiful cards! Also love the background on your practice piece. All the best with your soon to be, new puppy Emma. I have a large house, many porches, lots of yard and three Boxers ( who shed). I used to keep a tidy, clean and organized house. But, that is all I did! Now my house is lived in, enjoyed, and while it sometimes bothers me, I get over it pretty quick. When I know company is coming, I spend a day or two getting everything back in order, for decent presentation. Then I go back to card making, crafting, every table top covered in ‘stuff’ and a comfortable life. Love how you are being true to yourself. In the end, it is what matters most in our personal lives, being ourselves, rather than how we want others to perceive us.
Finally got to finish this video!! In regards to the housekeeping- I’m the same way, and I figure when I’m on my death bed, I doubt I’ll look back and regret not having the perfect spot free home!? I’ll instead cherish the fun I had instead! Fall....! Why does everyone love fall so much? I personally prefer SUMMER!!!!! Great cards!!!!
Love your personality! Just a couple tips on alcohol lifting; stamp and then let the ink sit for about a minute and then dab the lift ink, don't rub or you will just move the ink around. You're trying the just lift the ink from the paper where you stamped. And when you dab, use a clean section each time until you don't see anymore ink lifting. Also the alcohol lift ink doesn't work as well with the pearls so that's a other reason it didn't stand out as much. 😊 I love your cards for sure! I you're so creative and I love your story time as well.
You hit the hot button on keeping a house clean! 😜 I like all the seasons really but your cards beautifully cause me to anticipate cooler temperatures here in Oklahoma. Thanks a bunch.
Thanks for the video and the 3 fall cards using Honey Bee stamps! My favorite is the 3 pumpkins and love how you make coloring look so simple! Like you I'm not a Fall person but a summer! I used to enjoying my pool, or be down the shore if I wasn't at work or education as a Advanced Practice/Clinical Nurse Specialist! Unfortunately exposure to black mold at work place wiped my immune system & on reverse isolation! I have learned that housekeeping is important but living & enjoying life is more important! Good luck & enjoy your weekend!
Omg, even though you don't like fall you knocked it out of the park & created some of my Absolute Favorite Cards you've done, but then again I'm actually biased because I Absolutely Love Fall it's my Favorite season So Thank You! ❤😘
Hi Kelly. I love the two alcohol ink backgrounds, they are so bright and pretty. I’m excited to hear you may get to add Emma to your family! In reference to your critics, I was once advised to listen to someone’s “advice”, nod, smile sweetly and then do exactly what I had intended to do in the first place! Works for me....
Hey Kelly, love the card and what you do with your supplies. I have no craft room and crafty kit scattered all over the house couple that with two indoor Maine Coon cats and you can just imagine the state of my place...love me, love my cats, hobby and mess. If people want to be judgy, I don’t really care, my life is my own and I am happy, you should be too xxx
Why havent I ever thought to splatter the mixatives?! Love that! I always think of those signs that say "Bless this mess."....and want to throw an "Amen" at the end of it....cause you know...Life.
I love watching your videos. You teach me so much about coloring, shadows, etc. I consider myself creative, but definitely not artistic. As far as housekeeping goes, as long as you're not a candidate for an episode of Hoarders, I wouldn't worry about it. My house is a disaster zone because we recently had a remodel that gave me a beautiful craft room, so well worth it, but now I'm attempting to put everything away and to organize things. (Very slow going due to arthritic knees) Ugh! If I have a choice between crafting and cleaning house, the house comes in second. I definitely appreciate these videos. Thanks so much for sharing.
I'm the worst housekeeper, ever...clean but untidy....people come to see me, not my housekeeping skills...Kellie, unless they are close family or friend, who are they to judge, criticize or give advice....there is so much more important things in life to be doing rather than housework....good luck with the new pup, hope she gets her forever home with your beautiful family...life has come along in leaps and bounds over the last year or so...
These fall cards are beautiful Kelly! I work as a housekeeper at a local hotel and pride myself in the cleanliness of the rooms on my daily list. However, my home is another story. It is a lived in home. If you want to see me or my family, come over any time. If you want to see my house, you will need to make an appointment at least 2 weeks out! LOL
Kelly TY so much for putting those comments out there about the house cleaning and priorities because I too feel the way you do about it and I get judged harshly for it and it made me feel better, less alone and not as afraid to maybe speak out about it sometimes! ....Ty!!!!
I absolutly Love your cards. But to be höhnest: i Love what you Said about House cleaning even more. I have so many People in my life they dont Unterstand why cleaning is Not Important to me. Its Not reale Dirty but its Not super clean. I Prüfer to make my cards, to Play with my two Boys, to Chat with Friends etc. your words made me so happy and i feel like someone understands me ❤️ trank you
Hey Kelly! Your cards...all 3 of them are TOTALLY FABULOUS! I mean your alcohol ink backgrounds are simply gorgeous! But the pumpkins and leaves...WOW! I never thought about it but pumpkins, would be great to practice copic coloring or even color pencils. I’m the same as you, are give me some spring or summer flowers and I’m good...but for shading and highlights pumpkins are perfect for practicing your coloring! Anyway you did a fantastic job on the cards! 💛🧡❤️💚🍁🎃 Side note...praying you and Peanut get to add Emma to you family! 🐾🐶🐾
Fall is my favorite time of year, living in Iowa we get the 4 seasons as well and I honestly don’t think I could live somewhere that doesn’t have them. I love all these cards and the backgrounds are gorgeous. Side note about housekeeping, you are creative and talented and the world shouldn’t expect tidy and organized. Fingers crossed for the puppy and your fish stories on IG crack me up. Serial killer fish. Lol.
Great cards. I live just outside Houston where it is mostly hot and sticky, so I look forward to fall and being able to sit outside around a fire Pit! I am a clean freak...but that is a personal problem 😆. I do not look at anyone else’s homes or personal spaces in judgment. If you lived near me, I’d love you for who you are
I love all three cards. The practice piece is my favorite! I find that the alcohol pearls never work as well as the regular alcohol inks with the lift ink. Summer is my favorite season. Love the long days and the beach! Have a great weekend and a Happy Birthday!
Kellly great cards. Thanks for the tips on using alcohol lift I tried this technique last week and was not successful so with your inspiration I think I will give it a second chance. Good luck in adding your new furry family member. Try not to stress too much about your housekeeping I know all those eight leg friends just make appearances and are not invited to visit just like the aunt in your story.
Kelly, I'm sure your home visit was fine. When we do home visits, its just to make sure the home is ready for a dog...and with Miss Molly! Also...just remember this...do you want Peanut to grow up saying what an immaculate home he grew up in...or share all the memories of all the time he got with his Mom? My motto is, Dull humans have clean homes...and I prefer to have lasting moments in life, that I hope to recall as a very old lady!!
Those backgrounds and pumpkins are adorable. I'm not a huge fan of fall, either. I like how you explain things and I'm getting ready for my first adventure with alcohol inks in a few hours. I love your cards and your housekeeping style! I detest the whole tidying up, nitpicking about too many books on a shelf and clutter cleaning style. My house is a disaster zone, but my bills are paid, my kids are fed, we're making memories, and the dang house will still be there to clean next year. Lol
Love your backgrounds, they turned out fabulous. Well love the whole cards, but especially the background. I was never great with housekeeping while my kids were small, but once the grew up and moved out, my house is spotless all the time now, it’s really hard with kids, and when I had my last daughter, I had 3 kids 5 and under, my house was a mess all the time, add pets and forget it, lol hope you get her.
The cards are beautiful. I love the fall colors. I'm with you on the house cleaning. I've never been good at it or consistent. My house is "lived in" and I think it's fine. I do have anxiety when people visit though.
So pretty...and so much fun! I am not much of a card maker....the only ones I have ever made are my own watercolors or scribbles. The variety of options available is mindboggling !!!!! The stuff you do is FASCINATING. Enjoyed this thoroughly
@@KellyTaylorCards Hey thanks!!! I've been watching your videos this last week and did get myself some supplies to start with. Hoping to try out some things. Keep up the great work :-)
I really needed to hear your story time today. Insucurities and how my house looks. Thank you for being so open and honest, i'm not alone, i'm sorry for how you feel, but its good to know there are others out there like myself. Your talent shines, your words help me, Thank you.☺ i really like the look of the alcohol inks, but with allergies i cant use them indoors and days here (wv) are either too humid to work outside along side the flying insects 😕. But, i am a Fall person, so i am really going to try the technique, i love your cards! Thank you, and good luck with 🐕.
Your cards are so pretty!! I saw your pics of Emma on instagram today. She’s precious! I understand your anxiety about the home visit. We adopted our daughter and that involved tons of home visits - like over and over again for 2 1/2 years. I was a nervous wreck. I used to be a super organized neat freak until I had my son and then it all went down hill when this little person with toys and messes and all that jazz joined us. But they let us adopt our sweet baby girl so apparently I do alright and am my own worst critic. Anyway, congrats on your new fur baby and if people don’t like your housekeeping tell them not to come over. 😉
Where's the "heart" button?!! I absolutely LOVE these cards! Your backgrounds are beautiful. I sure hope you have a new four-legged member in your family soon. I can't imagine that a "messy" house would keep someone from seeing just how awesome and caring you are and that any dog would be fortunate to be one of your fur babies!
I love the first alcohol background you did. 😍 I like fall but I have allergies to whatever pollinates and I always get a sinus infection. I live in a small 2 bedroom apartment with my husband, 7 year old son and ALL of my crafting supplies (a lot of crafting supplies!) I'm a stay at home mom and I do my best to keep things clean and organized but it's a struggle, especially with such limited space. I'm always apprehensive about people visiting. I do get my 7 year old to help with sweeping/moping and small things like cleaning the toothpaste and soap mess he always ends up with on the bathroom sink. What little he can contribute is really helpful. Initially though, everything took 4x as long because he needed someone to watch and guide him.
Absolutely fabulous cards! I was bummed hearing pearls wouldn’t lift! I don’t cook! HATE IT! WHEN I clean, not everyday, I THROW DOWN full OCD! Otherwise..... no like? No come!
Hmmm....I enjoy the fall season, love the colors of fall leaves (which we don’t get in So. Calif.), don’t really make fall theme cards much- too busy making birthday, holiday and special occasion cards, but really love these - the alcohol background matches so perfectly with the leaves and pumpkins. I haven’t had much success with alcohol inks, but I’ll have to try again. Re: housekeeping....There is a meme going around - something to the effect of “ I have a lousy housekeeper. Oh, and she is me.” Ha-ha, hubs had a better one, “My gardener does a lousy job and drinks all my beer.” He does his own gardening.
I live in Nevada, the state with 2 seasons. HOT and I can go out side again!! I am from Michigan originally and like the spring, hate the winter, summer is too humid and mosquito-ie. Fall is my favorite and I go back every October! I go back in April too now, for my moms birthday, she will be 90 in April (big party coming). I love your cards!! You are my favorite youtuber! I keep my house neat and tidy but don't move any furniture, don't look under the bed and don't look in the ceiling corners!! Hope you get Emma soon!! I love my rescue dog!!
Wow. 🧡
I always tell my friends, "I dust my house twice a year, whether it needs it or not" !!! LOLOLOL !!
Someone once said `` what will your family remember, how clean your house is, our how much time you spent with them!'' Always put your family first!!
Love you!
Yours is not just a house. It is a home, and meant to be lived in. Dust is a protective surface for furniture.
Who has time for housework when there is so much crafting to do ! Love the cards Kelly
I always think that if your kitchen and bathroom areas are clean, so you don't get sick, who cares what the rest looks like. If people don't like the mess then they don't have to look at it. It's your life and you should live it how you want and not how others think you should be living. Also beautiful cards.
People who judge people suck. YOU ARE A GREAT PERSON.
Very colourful fun cards , love them ,,,.xxxx 😊🌺🌸💕
I forgot you’re a fellow summer lover. We are a rare breed and I catch a lot of grief about my lack of fall love lol. People are weird about their season love. I mean I don’t hate it but summer is where it’s at.
Also who cares if your house is a mess. Mine is generally very tidy because I can’t stand mess. We all have different ticks 😂 I don’t clean out of caring what others think I do it for my own sanity.
I love the "cutest pumpkin..." card too!
I love these cards! I love watching your videos and enjoy listening to your stories. Thank you for sharing your talent and techniques. 😊❤
Great cards. Also, there is much more to life than cleaning house. Stay true to yourself.
I love your fall cards...the way you colored those pumpkins...awesome❣️
Love it. I always tell people I do not come to visit your house I come to visit YOU. Thanks for sharing.
These cards say fall so well, Kelly! They are beautiful!
You hit the hot button on keeping a house clean! 😜 I like all the seasons really but your cards beautifully cause me to anticipate cooler temperatures here in Oklahoma. Thanks a bunch.
Thanks for the video and the 3 fall cards using Honey Bee stamps!
My favorite is the 3 pumpkins and love how you make coloring look
so simple! Like you I'm not a Fall person but a summer! I used to
enjoying my pool, or be down the shore if I wasn't at work or education
as a Advanced Practice/Clinical Nurse Specialist! Unfortunately exposure
to black mold at work place wiped my immune system & on reverse
isolation! I have learned that housekeeping is important but living &
enjoying life is more important! Good luck & enjoy your weekend!
So beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing your talent, time and fun stories with us.
Fall colors are so beautiful aren’t they? Super pretty card, Kelly
These are beautiful, Kelly....my fingers are crossed that you get to make Emma part of your daily
Why havent I ever thought to splatter the mixatives?! Love that!
I always think of those signs that say "Bless this mess."....and want to throw an "Amen" at the end of it....cause you know...Life.
I have a t-shirt that says that haha!
@@KellyTaylorCards I am pretty sure I need to make me a shirt that says that. Lol!
Great cards, I love the way you colour in. I love that someone else is not very good at housework - that's me too. Thanks for sharing.
Cleaning is part of my job but I'm in your camp when it comes to priorities. No regrets girlfriend!
Great card... love the color combos!
LOL
These are wonderful Kelly. I love fall, and the colours are amazing. You nailed it with these backgrounds!
I am one of those people who love fall!!! Love your cards!! Hope get the puppy!!
Side note...praying you and Peanut get to add Emma to you family!
If you lived near me, I’d love you for who you are
Kelly I love your card, I really enjoyed watching. fall is my favorite time of the year !!
Love your cards the colors are stunning.
Lol
Awsesome cards. Hope your Birthday is a blast.
Gorgeous cards, my favorite season is fall. I am so with you on the whole keeping thing, lol.
Beautiful, as always! And if I ever get as good as you with creating designs, I will be a happy gal!
These cards are fabulous!!!! I love every single one of them!
I really like the back ground and I never miss one of your videos
Those pumpkins a gorgeous!
The cards are beautiful. I love the fall colors. I'm with you on the house cleaning. I've never been good at it or consistent. My house is "lived in" and I think it's fine. I do have anxiety when people visit though.
Gorgeous cards. I love the colors you used. I am a summer girl so not looking forward to fall. I hope Emma is on her way to you very soon now.
Very pretty! I have to get better at alcohol inks! LOL Love the fall colors.
So pretty...and so much fun! I am not much of a card maker....the only ones I have ever made are my own watercolors or scribbles. The variety of options available is mindboggling !!!!!
The stuff you do is FASCINATING. Enjoyed this thoroughly
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! There are a ton of options for card making. Start with something you know you like and branch out from there :)
I live in a small 2 bedroom apartment with my husband, 7 year old son and ALL of my crafting supplies (a lot of crafting supplies!)
I'm a stay at home mom and I do my best to keep things clean and organized but it's a struggle, especially with such limited space.
Otherwise..... no like? No come!
Love the cards! Can’t wait to see picture of Emma.
Beautiful cards and love the techniques!
Beautiful cards Kelly. Keep up the good work. I also learned a lot in this video. Thanks Again.
I love your blending. Very nice.
Great cards and tips, Kelly! Thanks for sharing!
I love your alcohol backgrounds! Your coloring talents are fantastic. Beautiful cards!
Very cute cards. Jenn will love that card... lol
I met Shari at Crop on the Cape , I believe.
That's quite the birthday! 90! Good for her :)
@@KellyTaylorCards Thank you!
Happy Birthday...what day. And the cards are sooo cute. People shouldn't judge other people about how they live.
Pretty fall cards Kelly
