- Degs and Gabba performed live at One Two Three Block, 123 Pioneer Street, Mandaluyong, Philippines for FIERE 2019 on September 7, 2019. This was their first set of this year following a lengthy hiatus from performing at gigs. Now performing as a duo one last time with Miko Villena sessioning for bass, Degs and Gabba prove that they are still an awesome math rock band to see with their deep baselines, rhythmic drumbeats, and guitar riffs.

I love Tom's Story since I was a Grab Driver. My customer suggeted me this band. And I felt in love immediately.

This morning, Tom’s Story announced the resignation of their bassist Tom Naval and subsequently released a statement on the reasons behind this. We feel disheartened with this sudden decision, especially because more than a record label, we are a family first.
In the wake of these issues involving one of our own, we at A Spur of the Moment Project want to emphasize that we disapprove behaviour that displays any form of sexual misconduct. However, we also believe in the power of change and in giving a chance for this power to take effect by finding forgiveness, healing wounds, and ultimately transforming lives.
The previous year has been monumental for Tom’s Story, thanks to listeners and fans who have shared how the band’s music has affected their lives. Tom’s Story has indeed become bigger than its founding members and we are extremely grateful for it.
The band still values Tom’s contribution to this incredible journey, but they acknowledge the need to move forward without him to continue bringing music to listeners in the best way that they can. Gabba and Degs will be taking a short break and will be back to performing music live soon enough and continue making music as Tom's Story.
A Spur of the Moment Project would like to thank everyone for their continuous support.

Great band performance but that goes without saying. But man this crowd was awesome. I’m a Filipino pero sa States ako. I wish I was with you all singing along to their songs that don’t even have lyrics. Love you guys

Yeah I think so. Gabba has been making and uploading music under his own name recently so yeah.
