I had a 2008 Honda Accord Euro R when I was working in Tokyo. I ordered it equipped with Honda Inter navigation, Premium sound system, and Honda smart key system. In addition, I also purchased Mugen and Honda Modulo's fulfilling options and a paint protection coat, and the total price including tax was 4.9 million yen. I don't like parts made by other companies that have nothing to do with Honda, so it is equipped with only Honda original options, and it is a fully Honda original car. 😊 It was cheaper and better quality than the German saloons in the same D segment premium class. This 7th generation Honda ACCORD was rated higher than three of the S60 volvo, B7 Audi and E90 BMW in the British car magazine Autocar and others, and it was a really good car and I rode it for a long time. Unfortunately, the 8th generation Accord was very good saloon but it was'nt got not so good rated compared with Germans in Europe market. The current Accord that is being sold now is a car that succeeds Japan's "Honda INSPIRE" (the name of the ACCORD in the United States, Australia and Southeast Asia.), which was not sold in Europe, so the quality is often lacking. Japan, Europe's Accord at that time is called Accord Euro in Australian, New zealand market and called TSX in the US. There is no trunk arm lining, and when you open the trunk, it bounces and bounces. The current Accord looks great, but I think the TLX, which succeeds the Acura TSX, should sell as the Honda Accord in Japan, Europe market and Accord Euro in Australia area. And American and Southeast Asian Accords should be Honda INSPIRE. Even in Europe, if the TLX is released as a European spec Accord, in the Japanese market and other regions, a grade equivalent to the "Euro R" with the same suspension settings as the Euro spec and equipped with a Type R engine maybe born.
Mine is 225000 km '07. Until now these are the things that broke down: clutch, clutch master cylinder, car battery every 2-3 years (too small), alternator, exhaust, power steering hose, rear wheel bearings and both headlights leaked somehow. Not much for 16 year old car, but every month I invest 100 euros in parts....
AoA...Great Review as usuall...However there are few observations based on my long history with Accords. 1. Mark X 250G is quicker as compare to CL 9 Type S. 2. This particular car is either not TYPE S or The whole interior has been replaced with Type TL. As a matter of fact, the body kit is of Type S, but Type S has Fabric seats, and manual drving seat. Above all Type S doesnt have Cruise Control. These all options come in Type TL ( Touring Luxury ). Moreover Type TL also loaded with VSA and smart card entry which us absent in Type S. 3. Cruise Control is limited to 110 kmph. However there is an option of reprogramming by which you can disengage the speed limiter which costs around 50k. Rest, Accord is a great car but after Reborn, it feels a bit old school, though its full of features but bigger steering wheel, black interior and relatively small dashboard as compare to Reborn is an off. I am presenting my point of view as i got a chance to keep all of these together. 2004 CL 9 type S, 2002 CL9 Type TL and Civic 2011 prosmatec. At the end, my verdict is obviously not final, may be in 2006 these options had been added in Type S.
The one you're talking about is type 24s not the type S, this is one of the most common misunderstanding among the accord CL users. Type s only came in facelift at the end of 2005. There are total three variants of CL9 which are type 24s, type 24TL and then there's type S. Type 24s is the basic variant of CL9 which comes with manually operated fabric (velvet) seats. Cruise control and VSA not came in 24s. I hope now confusion gets cleared.
I subscribed bro .. i got one cl7 with k24 typeS engine and trust me it is a monster .. The Type R head and Type S head has not great difference though . We measured it all here bro . Some mm in the cams and vtc gear 30° and 50° springs retainers a bit better in typeR head . Not big difference though ..
The Type S is internally the same as the TSX. It was just named the Accord Type S for different markets including Europe. The TSX, sold in the North American market has a more luxury interior which is why it was sold under the Acura brand. There are more differences but they're subtle overall.

It's not a brand new car anymore and the long gear ratios don't help in acceleration either by doing a proper tune up like throttle body cleaning, tappet adjustment setting intake should be 9 and exhaust should be 11 new air filter new fuel filter new iridium spark plugs and catlytic converter cleaning which is the most important part coz of the cars age all of this needs to be done this can do 0 to 100 in around 8.6-8.7sec which was advertised by Honda Japan when this car was new but this car with a manual transmission is a totally different animal which is hard to find which does 0 to 100 7.5-7.6sec in stock form coz of shorter gear ratios but very rare to find most of them were UK import where as the jdm ones are only automatic except for the cl7 euro r versions
Honda claims a 0-100 time of 8.5 sec with launch and good shifting for auto variant and 7.7 sec for manual variant. Plus, it’s a very old car, but under 9 is definitely possible.

The drag race at 14:20 was epic, Shaheel smiling the entire time Accord was ahead 😂
I have 2003 CL7 2.0 litre here in UK. It's a great car!
Excellent review. Very seasoned and real car enthusiast as he appreciated Mark X too besides his love for honda. Reviewer is also khandani guy.

Accord got a head start inspite of that sonata was about to overtake the accord in the end..kafi thaki howi cl9 hai tbvh
Great video. But Type S does come with sunroof albeit in very limited numbers. Most probably no Type S with sunroof option reached Pakistani shores.
Other than it being crazy slow it's absolutely amazing. Have the touring version. 100 more hp and it would be perfect. Any ideas?

What is the estimated price of this Honda in 2023?
2.5 Million PKR

Mark ❌❤❤❤ . Mark x is alot better than cl9. 6 cylinder v6 engine good in fuel and power. Check drag run with the good maintained 250g mark x.
