@@richardmendy4914 Do you mean because of verse John 14:6?? John 14:6 in which these words are attributed to Jesus: “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” For a major segment of the Christian population, this verse represents a triumphal pronouncement of religious superiority; Jesus is the only way to get to heaven... The verse adorns t-shirts and stickers as a public challenge to members of other religions... ...And while all Christians believe that Jesus represents a decisive and authentic revelation of the divine character, many of us believe that very character to be incompatible with triumphalism and harsh exclusivity. Of course, this whole debate assumes that the context and meaning of John’s passage concerns religious identity and/or afterlife destiny...Here are 4 important facts to remember about John 14. 1. This is John’s gospel. This aspect of Jesus’ agenda is largely unique to John’s gospel, which doesn’t make it irrelevant or inauthentic, but does place it within a very specific context. 2. Jesus is a Jewish prophet talking to his Jewish disciples. In none of the gospels is Jesus portrayed as a culture warrior seeking the establishment of one true religion against all other false religions. He is a prophet and rabbi, a Jewish teacher of Jewish followers, a preacher of reform to his own people. This too should be obvious, but for some reason it is easily overlooked by modern readers who imagine Jesus as the original Christian megapastor. Whatever Jesus has to say in this or any passage, it is not aimed at the unbelieving hordes “out there,” but to those who already confess belief in the God of Israel. 3. Jesus offers an ethical challenge, not a religious ultimatum. Jesus’ response is perhaps best translated as: “I am the living and true way, no one comes to the Father except through me!” (John 14:6) In the parlance of rabbis and disciples, a “way” or “path” is an ethical or moral program, a way of living and thinking and behaving. Jesus tells his by Jesus. This is why Jesus goes on to say: “If you had known me, you would have known my Father. From now on, you do know him! You have seen him.” (John 14:7) This is about how well insiders know their own God, not about clobbering and converting outsiders.
Great video and conversation! The dilemma for Muslims is the fact that the Quran says “Allah’s words cannot be corrupted”, yet they say the Bible has been corrupted even though they affirm it as the word of God.
When Jesus says “ why have you forsaken me”, He is saying that not because God could not look at him for being full of sin but because He is pointing us to psalm 22, fulfilling in itself a prophecy of His crucifixion.
A very civil chat, but completely misguided. Jesus said "honour the Son just as you honour the Father", Jesus said "you believe in God believe also in Me". Jesus said "I and the Father are one" The disciples of Jesus worshipped Him, and He did not reject their worship.

They sound like Latter Day Saints , they say they believe in the Bible but the Book of Mormon / the Quran is supposed to be another testament which happened to just come thousands of years later
This Is an amazing conversation, really good to know other religions understanding of God but my question is I'm not sure if anyone mentioned it because I'm still watching it , How would Muslims explain what Isaiah said in Isaiah 9:6-7 if they do believe in the OT and Also basically all the Prophecy's of Jesus Christ? And Also It is because of the blood of Jesus Christ we have the remissions of sins , since the scriptures make it clear without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sin, what then for Muslims idk how to word it like what is their salvation , how are they saved from the penalty of sin which is death? I actually want to know I'm not sure I don't know if you know the answer but what do they do , do they continue to sacrifice animals? If the Muslim Faith is the Infallible Truth then What exactly is the sacrifice for sin if we don't believe that Jesus never died but ascended into heaven instead?
Not sure if you ever got your answer, but.. Islam teaches a works based salvation. On the day of judgement, if your good works outweigh your bad, and Allah wills it, then your sins will be forgiven. It's a scary thought to live life not knowing whether your salvation is secure or not. Praise God that through His grace alone, by the atoning blood of Jesus Christ, we can have the free gift of eternal life. Grateful I do not have to earn it because I would never get there.
1 Corinthians 1:10 said we should have no division and that we should be united in the same mindset. It’s crazy to me that she said she think God wants us to have different religions.
i don't understand why they believe a book coming over 600 YEARS after the new testament over the new testament itself which has been preserved since the earliest manuscripts.
Although I personally believe most religion is man made/corrupted, I respect people's rights to follow their beliefs. It's good that you had a respectful conversation, but hard to come to a solid resolution when each side is using their text as the foundation, a text the other does not fully accept.
we christians know the bible is written by human authors. we at least admit that unlike the muslims who think the book itself is literally sent down by God. the bible was inspired by God and the authors wrote it through the guide of the holy spirit. also the bible has been preserved since the earliest manuscripts we have of it.
The word trinity does not exist but Jesus mentioned about it when he said “go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit”.
This is why we need to know the word. To combat the lies of the enemy. Romans 10:9 must believe that jesus is Lord and that God raised Him from the dead. The Muslim faith is deceiving. They both seemed very lovely and I hope they come to know Jesus
I do like how they had the conversation, I just don’t understand how Muslims believe in the miraculous birth, which is proof in itself that Jesus Christ carries the actual DNA of God, but they categorize him as just a Prophet and not the one true son of God.
