I am listening to this masterpiece for the thousandth time and it still amazes me and lifts the spirit up. This is a formula for a guaranteed good mood.
I am 60 years old - but never heard a better Piano sound in my whole life!
Of course. It's a Yamaha. Screw Steinway! Although, the mic makes this piano sound like a Yamaha CP70 or CP80, electric pianos Yamaha introduced in 1978.
@@victoza9232 Yeah, I think this is a Yamaha Grand CFX. They sound very bright, metallic and crisp. Just perfect for this piece. Cost around 250,000 USD haha.
@@BrawndoQC Actually, the list price for a CFX is $179,999, but this is not at all what a CFX should sound like. A CFX sounds vastly better than this. The metallic sound in this video is more a factor of mic placement and mixing, and not the piano itself.
@@victoza9232 Ok, thanks for the info. It does cost 250,000 USD in my country with the taxes included.
The piano player must had some real coke 😂
I'm 81 years old and I'm in love. Geez Louise - flying fingers know those keys...
Revisiting this to hear the most badass left hand bass riff ever
Absolutely one of my favourite duo - love you guys. Could listen to this all night
2024 still cooking😊
😊😊😊
W 2044 też 😉
Это просто зажигательная музыка. Музыканты - виртуозы.
When he finished, the piano was heard to say " whew, I'm exhausted "
Revisiting this to hear the most badass left-hand bass riff ever!!
Absolutely
Damn when my mind focused on it as I read your comment I instantly agreed. That's such a fucking cool riff
@@Bromand My second favorite is the one at 3:23
Left hand is Thunder. Right hand Lightning.
Jerry Lee Lewis. ⬆️
I can't even imagine the amount of time it would take for this muscle memory, cut to 3/4's finished when he's bobbing his head and looking into the audience without a care in the world, loving every second of it, never missing a note. Ultimate skill and dedication, gets me glossy every time I watch it! "Bah ba daaaa....!"
Lord, how vintage music is amazing, optimist, joyfull....
Uh, FYI - no vintage here. This composition was written by Luca himself five years ago. A modern day 'walkin' bass' / boogie woogie played to perfection. Keepin' the vibe alive. :-)
Completely gifted...pure joy to watch and listen!
i cant stop getting enthralled by the brilliance of Luca's music
I watch this for many months now nearly every day, and i cant believe this skill and the greatness of this piece yet... its outta space maaaan. WAHNSINN
Absolutely Amazing!! I turned up my pacemaker, just to keep up! Loved the way these two musicians work together. RL
Roy Lewis imagine on a Steinway
@@70mjc Nah, the super bright sound of the Yamaha Grand is perfect for this song. You don't want moody sound for this piece.
70mjc Steinways can be voiced bright.
Yes!! Couldn't have said it better.😀
Is this a joke?
It's a good thing Luca's playing an acoustic piano here, and not an electric one. Otherwise, he would be blowing every circuit breaker in the building. Wow. What an amazing talent.
Simply amazing. I really appreciate the drummer enhancing the piano without overwhelming it. Extreme talent made to look easy. Well done!
Agree. I think one trait of extreme talent is to not grab all the attention.
Very true! Brilliant, love it.
Both are percussion instruments, this is a duel..or is it a dual?

One of the best videos ever made! I’ve watched this about 1000 times now!
Fantastic! You can sure hammer on the yammer! My 68 yr old feet can hardly keep up. Ha ha that was fun . Thanks from a grandpa in Canada 👍❤🎶
This is PHENOMENAL. Not just being able to play a complex piece of music this fast so cleanly, but so musically and so expressively. Really impressive!
hats off to Luca..huge talent
Not very complex melodically though... A lot of it are just riffs. But I agree that playing it fast is not easy.
@@thmsrttg Why would it matter how complex it is “melodically?”
Don’t think a statement like that takes away from it in any way whatsoever. It was still phenomenal.
@@thmsrttg Just your opinion. It isn't complex enough for you? Hard to imagine someone with that mindset. Makes you sound jealous.
❤❤❤👏👏👏👏👏✨✨✨✨✨
I remember Luca from an old video playing Swanee River Boogie, when he was like 14 y.o. Wow! He grew up and became a piano master! These talented, young gentlemen must become more popular! Well done both!
I came here from a post after watching that video too.Danged if he didn't get even better somehow....
ua-cam.com/video/tiHuKsxHwLw/v-deo.html c'est celle là ! à 5 mn 42 ! je savais que c'était un bon !
You evolved into a whole new level, only reached by the very few great masters. Congratulations maestro Sestak!!!
2022 and still it's 🔥🔥🔥
Try 2023 😊
2023 and its still cooking
but try 2024! Writing this on December 26th, 2023!!
2024 still its fire
02/24 🎶🤩👏
I think I Just tapped a hole in my floor.
that switch back to whiskers was damn fine!subdued but damn fine at 3.20!
In the Walls
LOL!
Ok, fall in it then.
😂😂😂
Hey guys - get the SHEET MUSIC for Key Engine here -> lucasestak.com/products/favorites-blue
Thanks for all your comments and likes
Luca Sestak is there a way where i can purchase only the sheet music for key engine instead of the whole music book
Luca I am 76, I am not here to tell you I am better than you, but to tell you that you are getting better and closer to being like the second Ray Charles or Albert Ammons.
+Arek Cep why are you commenting on his videos if you are 76 then?!
Luca Sestak Sweetie you swing. your great. A big Wow. Seriously I loved the way you play. you are an original and that is hard to achieve. All the best. Nita.
I got the sheet music to this for Christmas and ...I'm pretty sure Luca has seven fingers on each hand.
Incredibly ingenious! It is supernatural that a human can play like this! No more from this world, but from another, much more musical universe than ours!
Great to see Luca evolve on YT.
he composed this?!! oh my goodness, talent is a hugeee understatement! as a piano player I really see how hard it is to be able to do this (I can't), and so many things that he's doing. I love the trills and that type of thing. amazing, I hope I can be better someday... won't be this good, but I can dream
Dream never dies just the dreamer
As a fellow pianist, I can tell you if you become 1/10 th as good as Luca, you will still be fantastic! You WILL get better, all you have to do is practice.
Bester Boogie Woogie auf UA-cam. Still in 2021.
I can not imagine the outcome if Luka and Henri Hebert meet in a duet.🤩
Time and time again I keep coming back to hear it again. Just can't get enough!
That might be the most insane piano playing I have ever seen/heard in my entire 26 years of existence. Bravo
ChazWick4 I'm 68 and it ranks up there at the top. Several genius players, Henri is wonderful. Gifts from God, to be enjoyed by all who hear.
search for: Cziffra improvisation
gift from God....
also check 21 yr old Colombian guy.....JESUS MOLINA....a genius too..crazy fingers
+Daniel krome - just checked out Jesus Molina... wow he is absolutely incredible
yes brotha...incredible guys
Bravo is inadequate, gentlemen. Thank you!
Wow, what a sound!! Are you sure, only 2 instruments are being played? One of the most amazing boogie performance I've heard. New standard here.
still watching! unbelivebel!! those fingers are bleased❤️!!!!!
He wrote/composed Key Engine, his Efficiency in Movement seems almost effortless for one so young I am left in awe and nice Scott Joplin connection.
Boogie on Dude!
Boy have I wasted a lot of time guess I'm ready for my mid life crisis now. :)
Whoever tuned/setup that piano needs 5 Gold Stars ASAP. :D
God that made my night.
World Class - Bravo!!
I searched Fast Jazz Piano and this came up first...
Well off to a incredible start.
totally outrageous piano skills! you are a demon
Да как вообще можно так классно сыграть! Супер! Ребята,вы большие молодцы,талантищи❤❤❤
wow. this piano has a killer sound
ya it's super metallic, the low notes are nuts
Moment of silence for the mics. I agree, this is some of the best sound I've heard, but it takes two to tango.
That's why I love Yamaha grands. They sound so bright.
Thompter S. Hunson too bassy and unrefined
sure does!
How could someone dislike this ? Génial !
Blew my mind the first time I watched this !, This guys done his homework for sure ! . Amazing skill !, cool he got a percussionist to help him on this piece, really turned it up a notch, Amazing job !
that was effing awesome
The best piano boogie I've ever heard.... Twenty bucks say you can't sit still! :-D
Hell, I owed you 20 bucks after the first few notes. :D
Damn here goes 20! Lol
lol, my foot's definitely tapping and my head bobbing😂
Pay up.
You'd have won, in my case. If, at a minimum, your right foot isn't dancing, you need a good music appreciation class, MO. 🙂
Sestak does not need a title to his music that says Luca Sestak and anyone else....it is Sestak who is the super talent here.........
What a remarkable gift you have! Thank you so much for sharing it with us. Keep up the good work!
This is my JAM!!!!!
Fantastic. Talent is something you either have it or you don't and you have plenty of it. Well done, Luca!
a jazz style boogie woogie / ragtime exhibition ...AWESOME creativity
holy crapoli i could never ever play that piece What a talentfastest fingers in the West
Wow - you guys are SMOKING! I can FEEL it! Beautiful!! Thanks for posting on UA-cam.
Sitting on couch, left foot started first. Then both feet, followed by hand patting leg. Head bobbing in time, with approving faces. Then got up and danced to the kitchen to get a snack. Danced back with sandwich, hot pickle and pie. Wife, who had been napping at the other end of couch, watched all of this, not seeing the earbuds or hearing music. I returned, plopped down, bouncing the sandwich in time like a conductor's baton and chewing pickle on the quarter notes. Wife just shook her head and went upstairs. The cat went with her. - They just don't appreciate great music.
Amen :)
LUCA IS THE MAN WITH MANY MANY TALENTS. LOVE HIM ❤😉
It has been said before that Luca has the most powerful left hand.
Godlike
Fantastic job! Loved it!
God bless all here.
Oh god, knowing there's a sheet of this fills me with Joy :)
keep up the good sound :)
Yeah well sheet music is available. But who the f*ck can play this so effortlessly like Luca.😅
Wtf? There’s sheets to this?!?!?
I would just like to see the sheets if only to see how impossible it looks to actually play. :-)
@@garymoeller892 yeah boogie generally (more so less this) must have nasty-looking sheet music. Or they've come up with their own shorthand for some things, or just leave some of the details to the imagination of the player.
Great Balls of Fire is the closest to a proper boogie I ever played, and I would hate to see sheet music that actually wrote out every note. It would be the worst way to learn it.
Wow! You blew away my socks!😮😃😄🙏🏻
Remember first watching this guy about 6 years ago on youtube and he was amazing then, have really enjoyed seeing his ' rise to fame '
LUKA SESTAK A GENIOUS AT HIS PIANO KEYBOARD!!!
Outstanding!
I think the 10 people who disliked this only wish they could play piano this good lol..
Only rapper's wouldn't like this.
Whats wrong with some people, to not get lifted out of your chair by this would mean your dead
They just misclicked
this *well
What's wrong with just not liking something we happen to love? Takes sll kinds. No shame in that.
SPECTACULAR!!!
Holy moly, now that is incredible playing, and what a killer sound from that piano
WoW Youre Great Luca!!! For Sure A Star!!!!!!
Never underestimate brush kit. That sound. And the drummer's talent 😍😍
Очень насыщенно,эвергии вагон, идёт напролом! Классно! Музыканты-настоящие батарейки!
замечательно, слушаем с удовольствием.
A very excellent drummer
God's left hand
Thanks UA-cam for another cool recommended video I didn't ask for!
Eines meiner neuen Lieblingsvideos/-musikstücke. Die linke Hand ist ja ne geile Begleitung, gleich mal lernen :p

this one is good !
I just saw ‘Live at Siam Parc’ such awesome music (our black music) and no one was moving. I would have been swaying or dancing. Your renditions are brilliant. Bravo.
blown away! Was für ein Talent - Glückwunsch und weiter so :-)
Wow - My foot took over and I blame you and your talent given you by God! Awesome BB Gossum!
I think I just watched this for the 100th time. Time to start working on 200, I guess.
Darius Uible Me too!
I wish I could give this more "thumbs up" !!
thats epic
So much talent. Love all his music, this one is special, goooo luca
Убойное видео! Убойный пианист! Убойное Буги-Вуги! Невероятный темперамент!
Killer video! Killer pianist! Killer Boogie-Woogie! Incredible temperament!
Absolute genius!!
I've listened to many phenomenal pianists over the years, but NEVER have I witnessed one with as powerful a left hand as this kid. He just grinds out rhythms and his beat is so clear and driving. Man oh man.
A GENIOUS AT HIS PIANO KEYBOARD!!!.AMAZING!!!.

So true! I could listen to that left hand all day.
Awesome- that’s the Blues I remember you playing
At my house several years ago.
You are moving up in the world - Congratulations
Hello Rita, how are you doing.
where are you from?
@@martinswells1987 hi Martin
I live in SW Florida and hosted Luca before on his US tour. Very fond of him
@@ritaschwab1806 OH really that's nice , am from lens France but i live in Michigan now i was hope if we can be friends.
Bravo Luca and Niklas this is your best number ever !!! Believe me ! Just fantastic.
+Laszlo Szechenyi I can just hear that old '88 Norfolk & Southern Engine mosey on down through the Blue Ridge Mountains all the way down to New Orleans !
Wow!!!that was amazing!
Luca...I've heard a lot of Boogie and Blues...but you just blow my socks off. You get better and better and better!!! Wow!
Woooow super music !
After this the piano yelped and spontaneously combusted...WOW. Amazing job by both of these outstanding musicians.
Mr. Sestak you are sooo good and inspiring, I've got to stop listening to you play and go to my piano ! Wow, so creative. Keep Going....
Never underestimate the piano
Yess !
Or the pianist....
Ikr!!!
Who’s underestimating?
MidNightStudios Never underestimate the drum.
Bravo Luca and Niklas!!! Ciao from Roma.
This part 2:12 - 3:24 Woooooow.
+Gabrielle Grau Agreed! I also like the riff starting at 3:46.
Gabrielle Grau at this part I realised I couldnt help shaking my head)))))
The melody at 0:36 is so catchy I find myself humming it randomly
Gabrielle Grau wt abt the rest?
The "waterfalls" at 2:12 are probably from the easiest parts of this piece. I find the staccatos from 2:45 to 3:20 to be most difficult to get "clean".
The way Luca sticks his tongue out at 4:37 as the crowd responds to him sliding back into the groove! 🎵😛🎵
That’s the most piano sounding piano I’ve ever heard
Ik heb genoten dankjewel
Holy Moly! Just finished watching, will immediately re-watch, but must catch my breath first! That bit at 2:45! That is so incredibly difficult to do. What a master you have become!.
How about 3:17 as well
+Robert ~ Yes, that's part of what I was talking about. That whole 'double staccato' sequence that begins @ 2:45 and ends @ 3:25. Goosebumps! Now that you brought me back here, I'll be looping this yet again. : )
+Ilona ~ Holy cow, you are right. I stand corrected. Good eye. Do you play? I used to, and yet he is so fast that I missed it - I actually had to slow the video down to see it. Thanks for bringing me back here again. This duo is just phenomenal.
I have had the sheets for almost two years, and I can easily say that this is one of the toughest songs in his book!
I've been playing the Boogie Woogie on the piano for over 40 years and I find that's the easiest part to play.
Just fantastic
