Toning it will help but actually what you can do is add more silver/purple in the dye to offset the blonde in your hair! Purple tones yellow out of your hair. If your hair has yellow, there is a possibility the blue will have green tint to it. It really depends on your hair shade + the shade of the dye

To get your hair to blonde, you have to bleach it. If you're afraid to damage it, you should just go to a good salon and get it done. I like experimenting so I bleached my own hair but that's what I would suggest. :)
let us know how the colour goes after washing it! i dyed my hair with the silver pravana dye, and after the first wash... it's faded sooo much (for the first wash???), and after like the 4th, the silver's kinda completely gone :|
+RUBBERSOULED yes it fades really fast! the color is faded in about 2-3 weeks, but I'm used to this and I like it so I can always try new colors haha. if you want to keep the color longer, go darker and/or wash your hair less and with cold water when you do.

Hello! I have this biggg question! Yesterday i dyed my hair a gunmetal grey, its a permanent dye which means i had to mix it with 20 developer... i dyed it over my already-bleached-hair... the case is that ...when i bleached it to a light blonde, i immediately dyed it a fuscia pink....and i waited a lot for it to fade out . And it only turned a light orange almost pastel pink.... i couldnt wait any longer so i dyed it to the darkest gray i could find...so the final results of this was a slightly dark violet or purple... i dont see it gray anywhere. Idk if this is normal or if its going to fade out into the dark gray..... if not, what do you think i should do in order to really make it dark gray on top of the violet??? Pleaseee help :'(
if your hair was pink under and you added gray on top, it will turn dark violet because of the pink. (pink + blue (gray) = purple). Try to understand the color wheel and how colors mix with each other! I say let it fade because the purple will fade to a silvery blonde. Then you can try doing the gray again. Or if you're impatient and want to do something now, you can try adding a small drop of green diluted w/ conditioner -- try to tone out the reds in your purple so it will be more blue/gray. Hope that makes sense. Like I said, you gotta learn the color wheel and the rest is experimental like mixing paint! :)

I got my hair professionally done and the girl used pravana and it was purple and some blue I got it done in October and it lasted until maybe the first of the year had I hadn't gotten it re dyed during that time. But I used a sulfate free shampoo and conditioner and I also washed it maybe twice a week. Which is a good thing that's why it lasted so long but if you have oily hair, I'm not sure

Toning it will help but actually what you can do is add more silver/purple in the dye to offset the blonde in your hair! Purple tones yellow out of your hair. If your hair has yellow, there is a possibility the blue will have green tint to it. It really depends on your hair shade + the shade of the dye

you can do an ombre where you only bleach and color the bottom. or even try a strip to test if you're scared!
Lavendaire I would ask what a strip test is aha,
if you're doing it on your own, you can test bleach and color on a few strands of your hair and see how it turns out.
