I like what you are doing with this channel, giving helpful information that regular riders can use. I try to do something similar on my channel, but your videos are more polished. I barely have enough time to make them and upload:)😅. Wishing you the best will look forward to more

The Warp 9 wheels are way too expensive but the KKE wheels and spokes have not held up at all for me. I have the gold rims and they are not anodized but rather some sort of paint which comes off with any light brushing against rocks or tree limbs. I have broken a total of 4 spokes on the rear KKE wheels since they are tiny spokes. I understand the need for saving weight but they are not strong enough for hard riding. The Warp 9 wheels are actually anodized in the colors other than black and they do include rotors and sprocket so that contributes to the cost. The only bad thing I can really say about the W9 wheels is the price. I do think they are way too expensive. I ended up ordering a set of excel rims and spokes from Rocky Mountain. Total of $495 shipped to my door and I unlaced my stock rims and used the stock hubs (Same as ones on the KKE's). The KKE's are my spares now but I doubt I will ever use them unless its a long enough race to go through a rear gummy. The real budget setup is to order 36 spoke Excel rims with Excel spokes and build your own using the stock hubs.

It sounds like you may fall into that small category of people who really ride the hell out of their bikes. I agree with the warp9's being pretty pricey and would prefer an excel, but so far so good for me and I'm sure I will run through the KKE's before too long. I just couldn't justify the spend yet and hopefully they hold up for a while before I have to buy another set. I appreciate the comment, this was really helpful for others to hear another perspective.

Is there a meaningful weight difference? Thanks for the vid and turning me to KKE

That's not something I took into consideration, but considering the material is just about the same I would have a hard time believing the weight could vary too wildly. Sorry I didn't think to include that!

@@roamingwithjosh No worries. Coming from mountain bike world, even with those small rims there can be pretty big weight differences which can noticeably affect acceleration and bike feel.

@@roamingwithjosh Just got them. The size of bolt on the rim lock is Standart, 8mm.
Mount a motorcycle Tyre on that rims, was very hard. It's much more stiffer than stock.
Are your rims straight when you spin them? My have little play
