Inspired by the vivid shapes, alegría de vivir and bold confidence of Carolina Herrera’s early collections and a handmade collection dossier discovered by Wes exquisitely documenting the Spring Summer 1983 collection.
Love the collection but it's as though all the models are MAD AT THE WORLD 🤗 #greatpieces

That red gown with the puffy sleeves and plunging v neck was a MOMENT! And the short yellow babydoll with a black bow was so adorable it made me think of Taylor swift. 💖💖💖

I miss the days when models were taught how to walk. I never realized until watching this show how a lack of training actually does detract from the beauty of the clothing. Mind boggling, isn't it???

to this day i'm still highly amazed that this man still has a job at this company. i still don't understand why neither of Carolina Herrera's daughters took over the collection (they've been working along side their mother for years). this collection and the ones before it resemble nothing of the woman/women Mrs. Herrera designed for and built her entire empire upon. the Carolina Herrera woman, is a sleek, sophisticated, and modern WOMAN...not a little girl playing dress up in bad 1980s prom dresses.

There are several pieces that are very nice and then there is some that are just out there.
Can’t watch this show, lack of Direction, models look sad, can’t walk, etc.
I’m not even a seasoned fashion show observer and I noticed this too. Not enjoyable.

I was like these models look like the a team were in their private jet to go to the show when their plane tragically crashed into the Amazon jungle where any survivors perished within hours due to their lack of body fat, so they had to bring in the c team. B team was busy filming America’s next top model.

Where is the fire? Why do your angry models walk slumped over and race through the rooms like the house is on fire!!! Many of these dresses were copies from the 60s and the 80s but they went so fast we couldn't appreciate the beauty of the dresses. I'm 78 years old and I can't remember ever seeing a fashion show where the models raced around the room like this. What happened to the model walk, the bride walk? PLEEEEZZZEAA!!!
