Great flight but wow, those tall trees right at the end of the runway are super challenging! I was wondering how in the heck you'd land from that direction but wisely you didn't!
Thank you! 🙂 Yes, the trees are a bit unusual at first. But after a few flights I was able to land from there without any problems. The jet is so good-natured, I was able to turn a corner in front of the forest with the landing flaps and landing gear extended and then land relaxed.
I just maidened the Hanger 9 MB339 which I just love - and I believe is made by the same company: Phenix Models. I just love their products - cartoon pilots and all!! I wish they had some other colors for this Viper. Something with red in it maybe.@@flylowtakeithard7818

Great video, nice flight! How do you like the size of those wheels on the grass field? I’m worried they are too small but my grass height is similar to yours.
Thank you! :) So far, I've never had any issues with the size of the wheels. Even on longer grass, you can take off without any problems. This is likely also due to the 100N turbine. With the 85N turbine recommended by the manufacturer, it could potentially be more difficult.
No, I didn't have to change anything. The turbine fits perfectly! The fuel consumption is not high, as you rarely fly at full throttle. With a full tank, I get about 6 minutes of flight time. :-)@@stevecipolla3508
