Actually we had the roof inspected by a professional earlier this year. Though it is an older roof, the roofer indicated that it is still in good condition and that it should have at least a few years of life left, if not more. We have a roofing condition report on file that we are happy to share.
It's all relative but the people who live in Alta Vista absolutely love it there. Also, I said it was one of the best, among many other great neighborhoods. What's your top 5 ?
