- JOAN COLLINS takes over the Joan Lunden show to do an interview with another British legend, VANESSA REDGRAVE. This is a rare moment of two giants and different English actresses together on a U.S. TV show from about 1989.
How cool is it that Joan Collins introduced the Fresh Prince and DJ Jazzy Jeff?
Vanessa showed up wearing Linda Evans' hair before they put the extensions in for "Dynasty!" :-D
One wonders whether Joan and Vanessa remain ‘very good friends’ still all these years later given their different trajectories.
Vanessa has so much class.
Vanessa is beautiful :)
and very gracious lady
Lovely, lovely, lovely.
they should have given larry king's job to joan
Vanessa would have been good as Krystle!
isn't it amazing. Is it the time or is it because of Vanessa but the conversation is all about peope empowerment
during my very very callow youth , I thoroughly disliked Vannessa Redgrave and absolutely loathed her militant politics . Time has altered my perception and maybe Miss . Redgarve has mellowed herself somewhat and is not quite so strident and condemnatory of very slightest little thing . Indeed she holds out a genuine compassion for humanity and all the well deserved accolades she has received for her formid able acting talent , she has never become a Diva . A mistake I think to put Joan Collins opposite her for it merely highlights her lack of intellect and draws too much attention to her overall lack of depth . Her conversation is limited and always centered around herself , names she cares to drop ,marries , gossip etc . Her life seems to one of "bling " , "paste " , as fake as her personality . This I find irritating when there are so many people of worthy note and credibility who pass by unacknowledged . Imo .
Natasha looked very much like her mum.
Yes Joan collins should stick to acting. Interupting Vanessa constantly. Also you can see how vain Joan is when the conversation turns round to her
Joan Collins in an awful interviewer. She doesn't listen to the guest but rather anticipates the next scripted question.
