Thank you for making these videos. I came from a broken home and left my mother and siblings to build more stable and loving relationships. It was extremely hard, I find myself missing motherly advice or a caring person that Is older. Listening to your videos helps ease the heard ache from losing my loved ones or not being in relationships with them it is kind of a loss in a way. Anyway thank you!
Little tale here: I was barely awake when you started humming and I immediately became wide awake, overtaken with a kind of joy that made my heart race. Haiying, this is such a beautiful video. I think the coolest thing about stumbling across your channel years ago is now realizing you don’t just frequently visit my area-you live here! Glad to see such a wonderful person taking in the local sights; I’ve been looking for some nice parks to visit as I’ve just had a baby and am dying for some fresh air. I've probably listened to the part from 0:47 to 1:22 around 500 times since this video was released lol. It puts me into a trance, it's amazing.
this brings me nostalgia from the time I was young living in the Philippines. it would be a peaceful night outside and my grandpa would always lay in his self-made hammock, he looks like he's reflecting on everything. I would invite myself to lay on top off him and the both of us sway gently with the hammock.
he'd hum tunes too, just like the ones you hummed here. I can barely recall my childhood but listening to your humming and singing made me remember this specific memory,.
