You can go for either, notes taking is light work so you don't have to worry.

When you hover your pen on the tablet (without touching it), the cursor on the screen moves. You don't have to worry.

Yes, you have to install drivers/software on any machine before using it cuz software provides customization.

Bro, I'm planning to buy Deco mini 7 for note taking and for my dad to write and sign some documents. I've seen in some reviews that the need is wobbly. How was your experience with writing. Should I buy this one? Could you suggest some other tablet if not this one?
Go for Wacom CTL-472, you can check the review on my channel, if you don't need Shorcut keys then go for Wacom.

Bro, to avoid scratches I didn't remove the screen guard/plastic cover but still it's working fine till now. Is there any harm if I keep that screen cover?
No problem but scratches aane se bhi koi problem nhi hoti but aap thoda habit dal lo hand se jayda pressure n banye tab par.

Mujhe 16 months ho gye and main sirf 2nd nib use kr rha hu, so 2-3 nib bhi enough hai
