Daniel Mcbride No but, we can’t keep them on the shelves so it’s not possible to be stuck with one. That said, it’s not the only game in town. You can find a saddle to try on somewhere that you like the fit of, doesn’t have to be an MB in my opinion.

Daniel Mcbride Nothing quite like it. It has an incredibly high approval rate from experienced climbers. Climbing harnesses to me are a pretty simple concept and so it’s a bit surprising to me that this one causes such a stir. I think I could get the job done in comfort with any high end belt these days, but I am a bit old school, Joe has brought elements of newer thinking to the table for a blend of old and new with this belt. This is the longest post I’ve ever made but, to speak plainly, I would rather you bought one you tried on and knew you liked than buy this one, hate it, and then kick yourself for violating your fav rule of “try before you buy” LOL. I do not endorse your risk LOL.
Daniel - August is being his typical gracious self...but, come on....most of us buy our saddles either off the internet, or out of a catalog. Relatively few people are able to try them on ahead of time. Mine may not be as comfortable as the MB one, but dang it, it's not full of nails and broken glass....if someone can't acclimate themselves to something like this, with whatever tiny slight miniscule lack of perfection might be present, I can't imagine how they'd survive in this business. If you are shopping for just recreational or zip-line use, then I stand corrected.

All kidding aside, this saddle is an absolute Cadillac...I cannot recommend it highly enough!
Would this be a good starter saddle? Rock climber swapping over to tree climbing. Have a climbing harness but its hell on the nards.
