The biggest difference is the price, the brass one is stupidly expensive ($400 in the warwick site) and the other one less than $100

I checked warwick site and found chrome (black) one also cost 385$!
when I bought brass one from Japanese shopping site, it costed less than 100$, but now the price is 43,500 yen (435$). Idk why the price got so higher.

i have a corvette std, us swamp ash its red :D its was made 2000-2006 probably, i love my warwick soo much :) few years ago i busted my nut lol, and i replaced it with a brass just-a-nut and i remember thinking it improved the tone so much. i wonder if my bridge is brass? i always though it was but now after watching some of your videos, its possible they cheaped out on it even though its a german model. i had to replace my tuning pegs about 4-5 years ago after owning and playing for 9-10 years. i remember reading on some warwick forums the guys said they cheap out on tuning pegs and what not back then when i was replacing them lol, i bet my bridge isn't brass :( lol. still sounds great though not gonna replace anytime soon if that $400 price tag is true lol. anyways cool videos dude i enjoyed a few of them so far :D

hmm...I'm not sure yours has brass or casting one...but maybe the casting one...I guess?
I heard that warwick made brass bridge till 1995, but after that they switched to a casting process.
from 2013, all warwick bridges are crafted solid barss (by CNC routing), as Andy Irvine says at the vids of Warwick Product Demo.
and I didn't know warwick cheaped out pegs...
my 97 vette has "west Germany" label pegs. once I've tried to replace a peg before, but new warwick peg didn't fit in. newly made warwick pegs seem not to fit in 90's made warwick lol
I saw some custom shop warwick basses these days use schaller pegs also.
Anyway, thank you for your infomation!

Thanks for this video! Which one do you prefer for your playing style? To my ears the cast sounds brittle and harsh yet louder, and the brass seems to even things out a bit but less volume but in a good way. Am I hearing that correctly? Thanks haha

      thanks for your comment!
I like brass one better, I feel it sounds brighter in high range when playing.
But I can't hear almost no difference when hearling after recording after all...
maybe the difference of sound volume causes my mistake of setting,,,
