They say: "NEVER FORGET,". but they don't teach it in schools because they say: " it promotes hatred and predudice.....'. Talk about insult to injury......
Every student hears about 9/11 in history and social studies classes. I don’t know what you’re on about. It is even a literal legal requirement for it to be taught in 16 states- but of course it comes up in every modern history class. How about parents should be sharing the story of their experience that day with their own children is more like it.
@@grandson_0623 I think it depends on the school in the school jurisdiction maybe even the state, there have been plenty of times where other terror attacks barely got a blurb in the history book... It was not the mean focus because of the State testing they had a strict schedule to follow on certain subjects that were going to be on the state test and some things had a fall to the wayside because of that
What a statement of ignorance. Many Muslims, and many immigrants in general, were also victims of 9/11. Many, many more were effected further by the predjudice and bigotry following the attacks- from deluded people like you. Timothy McVeigh certainly wasn’t Muslim or from a different country, and his goal was to entirely destroy the Alfred P. Murray building. It was only a miracle that he killed “just” 168 people. The real threat to America is the violence in our OWN country by our OWN people and home grown terrorism.
One of the worse days ever in America. I will never forget.

Not correct. Every class that has to deal with history talks about it, not to mention 9/11 day for every student in middle and elementary school.

Teach kids about the views of the people who did this and they will grow up to be the generation that kicks them all out.
