    Very nice
A video on a gold bar bezel would be brilliant

I can definitely try to do that. Maybe a 24k gold bezel for a gold bar or even a platinum bar.

@@poured_Silver that would be awesome 🙌 I can’t find a single video or even one for sale
      I made a 24k chain and m clasp
But the dragon bar I have has 14k frame it doesn’t look good on 24k
So I’m trying to buy one or make my own
      Bezel wire 5mm x 0.3mm
      Total weight 1gr be great

Fantastic video. Could the same process be used to make bezels for coin earrings?

Truly appreciate it! Yes, you can do the same thing for earrings. I would probably go smaller though so they aren’t too heavy.

@@poured_Silver Okay good to know. Thank you! This will be my first metal smithing/jewelry project and since I'm a visual learner, your video was really helpful.

Thank you very much for the kind words. It came out to weigh 1/2 an ounce so roughly 15.5 grams of 24k gold.

Thank you! The rolling mill is a cheap one. I purchased it off eBay and it has held up well so far.

I used 22k easy solder for this. You can make it yourself but I bought it.

Are you fusing the prong wires together ?

Not fusing, but I am soldering them.

@@poured_Silver making this in silver tomorrow. How are you getting the curvature right where the prong tabs wrap around the bezel?

    • @poured_Silver
      @poured_Silver  8 місяців тому +1

Let me know how it goes. I honestly eyeball 90% of what I do. I originally made each prong larger than what it was needed and then pushed only 1 down to get an idea where it would sit on the coin. After that I bent it back and used that as a guide for the rest.
