I love the way you described the first thing "Stop comparing yourself with others" in context of building confidence. Social media really make people get obsess with other people's lives and specially over the things you don't have. I liked this video so much that I already have watched this over three times. You have explained everything from where we are lacking to how to fix it.

To be confident. Just be confident. Don't overthink it. You perform best when you don't care much.
According to me, "Self communication " is the most important tip to become confident. And it can be done in a very simplest way,talk to yourself while standing infront if mirror! Talk and talk. Make videos and watch them. Putting effort on grooming makes oneself confident.

I am also a speaker and debator. The tip that help me the most in gaining self confidence is the second one "watch yourself while you speak and evaluate yourself". Literally by following this tip my self confidence improves. And I really want to thank you Mam, because of you I am trying to inculcate reading habit in me. I was not confident till 5th grade but then I started participating in assembly in morning and slowly and gradually started participating in competitions like debate etc and i used to tell one thing to myself that you will not make any mistake while delivering a speech and if you does no one is going to notice it and if someone do notice he /she will not come on stage and tell everybody about that so be confident nothing will happen and if sometimes I am nervous I try to not show it in front of everyone believe me nobody will ever figure out that I am nervous .Sorry for such a long comment but I hope it helps anyone reading this

My favorite tip and the one I practice nowadays is the 2nd one “WATCH YOURSELF WHILE YOU SPEAK”. And to be honest i have had tried this tip in my daily life and it has helped me a lot as I’m an introvert and I have a fear of public speaking but now I guess I’m kind of overcoming that fear of mine by standing in front of the mirror practicing my speeches!! The first thing I have always done to keep my self confident is actually to keep a watch on my words. And not to comapare myself to any other! I keep my words regardless if what ithers say and believe. My perspective can be different from all, it can be wrong too! But I still stay confident on what Opinion I have!

Previously i was nervous in many things to do
One day i started doing this whenever i feel low, I close my eyes for a moment and think that if someone can do his or her best, then i can surely do even if try more harder and smarter it can be much better bcz he/she is basically a human like me others and i am like him/her but main thing is to be focused, concentrated and confident so why should i be shy or feel down all are equal and blessed with something unique in them.
with this i get all my focus and confidence back in a moment and get started again with a new spirit and energy on my way I'm going ...

Tip which helped me out alot was practicing and interacting more with others help me gain more confidence. 5 years back i was a shy kind of student, i watched hundreds of videos on youtube about getting confidence but not in vein then one day I decided to practice this. Firstly I watch myself while talking and I read and listened to quality content alot. Now i can confidently intereact.

By practicing these over the years I learned that confidence instills in you. You are your own boss. No one can humiliate you unless and until you're confident.
Moreover, when I was preparing for Ecat, one of my teacher after observing our anxiety told us "In any situation think of the worse that could happen. Is it the end of the world? No. You have multiple options to explore. Go grab your oppurtunities". So, by removing the fear of worse scenarios from my heart , the anxiety and timidity fades away.
