As a former non-programmer, I can confirm this is a pristine representation of what it looks like to watch YT videos on advanced topics when just starting out lmao
If you heat it to the point of oxidation first it tastes just like the smell unboxing new electronics. This is not a joke. I regrettably ate magnesium oxide as a stupid teenager in science class.
I'm a 28 year old son with 39 years of experience in coding D++ (it's better than C++) and I knew all this was outdated from the first Detcon Roll adaptationable variable shown. Good speed I must admit and the vertical linear parabolic sine wave in the begin was of good taste too. Great work Marc (k?)
Could you help me, I'm a beginner developer in DF**++. If i want to throw in some crypto LLM's into the mix, do I do it before or after the compiling of the partial differentiation for the polymorphism matrix vector recalls? And do I need some backwards declarations for this?
12:07 the audio is crackling here a little bit, challenging to make out the words (webcam is a bit fuzzy from the ionising solar storm), can you explain what you're doing

From his ability to have a shooting game from a few lines, I truly believe he can make an empty file print hello world. His experience told the computer to include iostream.
best tutorial i have seen in a while, thank you sir Podel. my FPS game is now 300% more efficient with 27.314% less latency, and NASA are sending me request letters.
Why are you not using Word 2007 as your developing environment? I find the way it keeps setting the default language to English (US) even when I set it to UK in all menus to be quite compelling. Can't get that functionality in Solitaire!
As a programmer I expected this to be 100% serious and I was so convinced that I found new ways of convincing myself that it is, and at some point i skipped through the video and slowly got enlightened
After your comprehensive guide on the 4090 installation process that helped me overclock my 22 year old smelly oven you are here proving you know your software as well. Impressive stuff man
As a software dev myself I am in awe of your work. It would take me a lifetime to learn that. I noticed you have a very advanced system of typing and keyboard placement, I guess you learned that as part of you CIA special training? unless you are not allowed to talk about it.
I've never seen someone code with such elegeance and experience before, this video is truly and inspiration to all programmers and engineers out there. What a legend...
so as a game dev hobbyist myself, I think i know why your game crashed at the end. See the function "reverseX" at line 907 ? Well, line 908, you forgot to finish the sentence, so the engine probably assumed (because its a smart fella) that you wanted to reduce the X vector of the velocity by the entire velocity, which obviously can't happen because you can't reduce to a 1 dimension object a 3 dimension object (for non-developer, imagine trying to add a cube into a square, while yes, you're going to say "its gonna look like a square then ?", for a computer, its just a big no) This, or you probably forgot a semi-colon
While using polymorphic memory leaks is often the right approach to handle template overloading, for FPS development the current paradigm is to leverage dynamic thread inheritance instead.
Thank you for this Podel It will be a good tutorial during my coach ride to Newcastle, and will also provide a good backing soundtrack while I watch another man knife fight the Starbucks cashier for a crumpet
Great tutorial. For any beginner trying to get started on FPS coding, I recommend getting a good handle on these functions: import off off.pss() off.fck() off.sod() import cigs cigs.mrlbr() cigs.winston() import powerplant as plt plt.urnium() plt.rdium plt.brn(["titanium"])
While this tutorial is very informative and high quality, there is some false advertising going on here. I was expecting that the tutorial would take less than 5 minutes, but the video is actually over 10 minutes long! I was going to get my 3 year old son to follow this tutorial and make his first big fps as an introduction to the industry and get his resume started so that he can have 20 years of experience after finishing undergrad. However, my 3 year old son has ADHD and has an attention span of exactly 5 minutes so to my dismay I saw him give up before the project was finished. Now I know this is a result of my bad parenting but I really expected this tutorial to do the trick only to find out that it is actually over 5 minutes.
With this information I was able to hack my neighbors email and permanently disable their spam folder. Now they will be too busy sorting through junk mail, and won't have enough time to rig my front door with an IED at 2 AM.
