I know the whole rant about us not being game designers is in this video but I have one suggestion. Blob can keep his power, but he’s an awfully large lad, he requires 4 slots to be played to a lane. A self imposed Space Throne effect but notably cannot be played to space throne because its too tiny. If a card enters the lane before he reveals he eats it too, for better or for worse (allows goblins to hurt him still but a stegron or spiderman could actually buff him) and because he takes 4 slots playing him out early can be a risk or even a detriment Creates a deck building conundrum, you either don’t play Thanos because the stones will take too much board space, or you do but you play killmonger to clear space. If you run killmonger you probably don’t run your caiera opening him to shang. Allows him a unique novelty of being a 4x sized card on board. Deck building puzzle Play restriction with new counters Unique board presence
And I really should have been sleeping when I wrote this so if its poorly written its because I have work in 6 hours and I’m watching content because I can’t sleep.
I just got to the 32:31 where you finally won the game. After seeing you lose bad match after bad match, it was great payoff. Way better than most scripted television.
This is absolutely the point in a day of playing Snap where you just quit on the spot if you're a normie. There's not a higher point you can end the day on.
Old datamines yeah, but the new ones that come with season banners and spotlights tend to be very close to release. (Also btw when that card was originally datamined Kazar *was* a 4/5 so it was just the same card.)
Hi Jeff! Long time watcher, first time commenter, I think maybe if Blob consume only the next 3 cards in your deck could be balanced, in most games you deck end with 3 cards, so he keeps his maximum capacity on most games but it makes it worse on Thanos and not as powerfull when accelerated with electro/Wave, in some rare game when you still have 30+ cards in your deck can be huge, but in average i do belive he will be on the 10-20 range
@@Calibrex_Gaming But you know whats in your deck, if you know there's less than 10 power on your remaining card, just play another big 6 cost, you dont have to blob every single game, even built arround card like mr negative have a backup plan and can win without their main card
Blob is very easily counterable but I don't want everyone to start playing my decks 🤣 I wish the community would just calm down and figure out the counters instead of wasting their time thinking of how to nerf him - this meta is the most fun I've ever had on snap, cruised to top 1k just wrecking all the Thanos noobs EDIT: upon further reflection I do understand that Blob is INCREDIBLY centralising, the game right now is either play Blob or counter Blob. Personally I enjoy this dynamic but it definitely makes deck choices quite narrow
@@dandogamer I’m playing in a pool without Blob due to my low CL. Half decks are HighEvo, 25% are discard variants, 10% are bots and the rest are moving and ongoing decks.

@32:13!! What a rollercoaster of a match! Blob comes up just short for once. That’s the element of the unknown you were talking about in stream.

For example, War Machine was originally datamined months ago and was just a 4/5 Ka-Zar. Datamines mean very little, at this point.

I hope gladiator gets a spotlight next month so I can play this deck.
Datamined for 2/20 with X23 and Corvus
What if Blob adds the COST of each card he merges into himself instead of the POWER of each card? That would lower the ceiling of his range at least.
I'm eating decks alive in Conquest with this deck since you played it on stream. It's a ton of fun!
It's a christmas MIRACLE! lol cracked me up
Hi Jeff, what is your opinion on the state of Loki post this most recent patch?
10:00 the card i'm confused about is the falcon in their phoenix force deck
So you can pick torch, fist, and ghost spider back up and do the combo again

Would kill the card. Making it so it sometimes is less than 10 power most the time won’t work
Darkhawk just kills him and we go back to a meta of drawing rocks again 😭

See Blob isn’t an issue
Blob can eat the whole deck and only have the power of the highest power card eaten
7 cost blob
Three Attumas 😂
16 power for 6 energy being a low roll... welp.

I wonder where the meta would be without blob?

Maybe just only do half the power he eats?
