Kumite Gata course highlights - Wado Ryu Karate

A deep look at the inner workings of these unique Wado Ryu Karate pairs kata. This is not a step by step guide, but a look at the guiding principals and fundamentals that make them core to the Wado style.
These combinations were created by Ohtsuka Sensei to highlight the Jujitsu roots and elements of Wado Ryu Karate, and to instil what he believed was the essence of his style.
Sensei Roger Vickerman 6th Dan Renshi takes us through some of the more advanced concepts and applications. Anybody looking to improve their understanding of Kumite Gata will gain a lot from this 12-minute video.

Hello @Wado Ryu we hope to come to Germany when travel restrictions are removed and travel is allowed freely.

Thank you @PeterAnthony I know that in these more in-depth sessions, Sensei Vickerman is aiming to giving the students something new to take away and bring back to their Karate. I know for me I always get a lot from these sessions and they are incredibly well delivered. I also know a lot of work, planning, knowledge and experience have gone into them.
