I accidently deleted my whole description so this is me writing it up again haha! This upload we will be looking at this sweet find I had a few months ago! Im pretty sure alot of the younger generation associate swatch with really cheap quartz watches for childeren so Imagine my surprise when I found this super smooth watch online! ETA 2842, not 2824. Modified for Swatch with reduced frequency for longer service period
How balance stuff from 2824 can fit to 2842? Different BPH!
i have a swatch crono dead, wich eta could fit and replace it?
Old swatch chronos can only be serviced difficultly! No Idea which movement it is though. Sorry !
This is actually an eta 2842. It is basically a cheaper, cut down 2824 with only 21600 bph and less parts.

The watch is running really fast since you put a 28800 bph balance in a 21600 bph movement. Was a pivot of the old balance broken?
@@philipparana9225 I mixed up the 2842 and 2824 haha. I bought some aftermarket parts and just build them in. Timegrapher said that it runs fine but I'll have to do a wrist check over a longer time to double check! Update is going to come
@@markus98sb Nope, I just Switches it out because I wanted to try out the aftermarket quality. Thanks for the Tipp though! I will do a longer wrist test and bring out an update!
Hey! i also have an 2842 movement of swatch, but the plastic parts broke that connects the bracelet. Do you have tips on if i can buy a new housing somewhere? I don’t mind if its the original plastic, or aftermarket steel
