green/red note hunting horn with 2 piece nergigante and 2 piece vaal hazzak
augment for healing and make sure to heavy recovery up and recovery speed 3
use the recovery speed and passive recovery songs and watch your hp casually refill during combat
you also get access to healing melodies with this build
The dual blade build is absurdly fun. And something about personalizing your build to the monster you kill is so fun, like actively being THE counter to a monster is super fun. Definetly trying yours! Loving the content btw, keep it up!
Thank you very much! And yeah they aren't wacky builds or anything but I think they're fun when you look deeper into the little things haha. Like the freedom to literally swap any elemental damage and defense for your fights haha
Fun thing is you can also use the impact mantle when the monster is knocked down for a free stun after
Thanks for the build ideas dual blades was beginning to feel a bit stale, but it's all I know xD So I made a crude version of your heavy bowgun build (I'm not at iceborne yet) and I freaking love it! It has breathed new life into the game for me and made me curious to try other weapons. Probably going to do the Greatsword one next.
I like how you make some of this build viable for those who have not reach endgame yet.
I'll recommend this to my friends that new to the game. cool content by the way
I love seeing these different approaches, it really hows how exceptionally versatile the game is in its approach to combat, down from the weapons all the way up to the builds you can make!
I'm getting back into MHW after not playing for years and getting a friend to play from scratch, so I've been looking for something new to try. That Parasmash and your namesake build looks great and I've never committed to SNS before, so I'll have to give it a go. Thanks!
Such a cool dude! All yhe build guides out there are dead links and sadness. Thanks for keeping up the dope content!
Anyhow here's 3 fun ones:
Slugger/stamina thief switch axe. I don't remember which tree but theres a tree that has the exhaust phial. The fun part that most people don't know is that phial when charged becomes stun if you hit the face with it.
And something similar to your first one: rimefrost build for the bow, for dragon piercer spam. Pretty fun against the long bois.
And third: gundodge. Gunlance but who needs a bayonet and shield.
Basic build starts with Dem skills to boost shelling and focus for charged shelling. Then max your dodge with both dodge skills. Why? You can dodge at any time when charging a shot. This gives you some decent DPS specially against heavily armored monsters and if you any decent you are basically untouchable because dodge cancel at any time with good distance and great s.
Great video I will try someof this built. I have lost my save and this year I just find the will to start again from the beginning. I just kill Alatreon for the first time but I need to farm Safi to have a better consistent kill. In short Fatalis it may take me years but I will have your head !
Got back and started with iceborne yesterday so I Really like the GS Build
I think 3 of these builds I've created as well. Like, exactly from the set items used to almost all jewels. And YES, Health Boost 3 is a must!
That first build really caught my eye
I like fun builds, but i mainly end up with fatalis armor with whatever weapons and skills. I love the extra HP and stamina.
Oh yeah, it's so OP haha. So many decoration slots and great skills too. You really can just do whatever you want with it haha
@@TeraRyza well there's always kulve or safi weapons for elemental and status builds. Just need velkhana essence on the safi weapon with 1 piece of velkhana armor. I've basically made a build for every elemental bow using these 2 monsters. All the safi bows, and all but 1 kulve bow. Currently grinding for the kjarr water bow with critical element. I end up only using the fatalis bow most of the time, but I still want the complete set
@@ShukakuTheCrazy1 if you element damage, I strongly suggest the mix set if azure age + silver rathalos. True crit element is still my go sets for my alatreon cb hunt. It is the most underrated armor piece IMO.
@@79kopi79 I forgot about azure age. Frankly I think the slots on silver rathalos make it hard to use, but factoring azure age in... ok next time I boot up the game I'll look at it
It’s crazy that I can easily fit in a guaranteed crit build while also fitting in a healer build and still having a bit of wriggle room for a bit extra with Fatalis armour.
i've been grinding GUIDING LANDS and this is perfect builds for me :D
One of if not my favorite build is my full Fatalice armor with Fatalice hammer build with max attack and secret slugger five and max crit as well it can get up to 1k damage in 1 hit
Hey, man... I came into MHW when it got popular recently and when I decided to maintain dual blades, this video was my goal. I still don't have the decorations needed to make your DB build, but close enough. Thanks man, it's very fun. Unfortunately, people tell me Silver Rath armor is better, but after grinding to get it I think you've spoiled me. I just can enjoy anything but your build. I guess I'll augment this armor instead! Thanks.
Vids like this are really helpful. Ive only recently started the game and just got past Nigigecante (ik i misspelled it, its a weird name) so I'm trying to find some builds to use while i join some friends in some later stuff
one of my favourite builds is good in multiplayer but a bit slow in solohunts. i LOVE parastun. being a CC bot with a paralisis hammer and all the skills to make a pain in the ass of the monster
these build seems fun and i've actually quite interested in the builds that u said to min-max using fatalis , can you make a guide on most fatalis builds? since I've nvr fought the golden or silver dragons but actually just grinded my way on full fatalis sets by just breaking his heads and plunderblade other items out and i am interested in some way of using the fatalis sets
For anyone else musing about the Parasmash build 6 months after the fact:
The Radobaan Os III SnS is definitely the most para you can get on SnS, but the Kulve Taroth weapon: Kjarr "Numb" Slicer gets close, with slightly higher raw and built in critical status, and a level 1 gem slot instead of level 3.
Since the build is focused on tee'ing up teammates, I like a variation with wide range and speed eating to support the gang even further. Depending on your favorite way to get that, it could be available to you much earlier than gold rath too. Lunastra's set seems good for this for Tool Specialist secret and wide range is already on some of the pieces. Mix and match with whatever else you fancy.
i was just restarting and was considering switching from SnS to SA but i think i might just take that parasmash build through the entire game. seems fun
With Mon Hun Wilds coming next year and Capcom's "Return To Monster Hunter World" campaign and the fact its on sale for $9 its brought back a lot of players and 133k playing on Steam. Now is a great time to come back and have fun!
That rifle in the second build makes me want to play Heavy Bogun
Im currently running the "parasmash" build, different armor/skills but same idea
I uses the insect glaive w/ paralyze bug instead tho cuz insect glaive can easily get mounts, making the monster topple more often
Frostcraft clutch claw only HBG is the funniest experience in mhw. Everyone should try it
Funny that you'd mention the critdraw GS set's hit and run as a "unique playstyle". That playstyle is how the GS has always played in previous games, with world(and now Rise) being the exception due to adding the true charge slash focused playstyle.
I use a meta version of the Frostout build with a max awakened Safi shattersword + pdraw + FC. It slaps so hard
Getting back on. Help wanted
I appreciate this video, thank you. I always want to look up fun builds for weapons/armour and I always get META builds.
Glad you enjoyed! I like both but yes there is a lack of fun builds on YT.
i wonder if you did enough working around could parasmash evolve into parasmount considering sns has a good mount that does a lot of stun and can be halted to repeat itself for a bit for more stun.
I'm just starting the Iceborn story after finishing the base game, unfortunately me and some friends used the defender armor and weapons...(Shame on us) so we have a steep learning curve ahead with all the skills, elemental damages ,ect. if you'd make a tutorial around augmenting, crafting, melting and skills and such that would be awesome 😅After watching the videos I'm going after all the mantels I can get right now 🙄
Edit: just found your ultimate beginner guide 👍
I have never played the game but bought it today. Can we get a "What I wish I knew before I started playing" video?
Personally the brachidos lbg with the burst fire stickies make for a very fun support play style. Just need artillery, slugger, and spare shot if you can make all of them fit. Great sword mains will love you.
Kinda loving that parasmash build though, it’s even better getting two control statuses than the one, I’m just usually not a fan of playing melee weapons since combos are a bit annoying for me to figure out.
I recently beat fatalis on my xbox and decided to buy a pc and playthrough the game again with mods :)
I remenber a set i made on world. I name it monster go bang. I use velkhana g and frostfang barioth on hbg with wyvernsnipe to abuse of clutch claw on weakness part of the monster.
Finally someone who actually likes to focus on having fun with their builds. I was “bullied” by some random player because my GS build was apparently garbage to him because my crit eye was nonexistent and agitator and etc for damage lol but I didn’t give a single fuck cause I was enjoying the game my way
I beat Manus and Midir on my 3rd try. Malenia on my 4th. Fatalis took me almost 50 tries before i sent the SOS and started considering my build. Took me another 8 to beat him after that
The gs build is very similar to what im running rn and i must admit
I thought i found a cheat code wjen i First put it together
Draw Greatsword is so fun
I had a healer/dps build with the SnS it was so good. I could heal everybody and kill relatively fast. I used that one aarmor that makes healing items have more effects
Wait, what? I've playing world since release and wide range builds are no secret for me but what is this armor that buffs healing? Defuq
oh man, I just finally beat Shara Ishvalda after failing like 40 times, the problem was I kept playing with 4 randoms, he gets so much health like that. Any ways thank God and now I can finally grind for most of these fun builds. This has been my main reason to play, I wanna be op AF
I use an elemental horn build 📯 It's not meta but you can take into nearly any fight solo and you will win. The utility Element builds can have is really fun, it can turn you into a powerful tank
18:01 exactly the build I was looking for, awesoem! How do u do the transmog there aswell? #newbie
Use Velk gramma and frostfang helm on that first build, you get access to better gem slots wouldn't need to use focus charm and go with attack or agitator charm instead because rimeguard coil y+ gives 3 focus and 1 quick sheathe
Yeah Gamma is obviously the better choice. These are more intended for people who haven't seen these yet. I didn't want to use the Gamma stuff as these are just baseline builds for people
@@TeraRyza oh understood I must have not heard that in the video, really good guide though 👍
@ohshiii6310 Hey, you brought up a good point, though. I got an idea for next time. Maybe I'll show the base skills and then show what it looks like being optimized.
Once I hit high rank and started to get decorations.... I got speed eating lvl 3 and man ill say I died alot less
I want to use dual blades but I don’t want to use true crit element because damn silver rath armor sucks and I enjoy the comfy gold rath armor. Any tips
I like this video but your mic. it's not bad, the sound is clear and solid But! Check how much you are at the very edge to clipping your mic. idk how to really explain it, but when you record your videos, for example in OBS, there should be something where your speaking level shows and when it goes into the red, that's bad. check if you got something like that going on, it sounds like it.
For the Parasmash, what me and my friends would use instead were hammers, and just bonk which ever monster was unfortunate enough against 4 hammers that would paralyze in just 30 seconds, and over and over and over and over. Till the quest ended... 😂😅
I love seeing these builds as I cannot beat Fatalis no matter how hard I try
speed eating recognition is great.
Dragon proof mantle increases dragon elements, I think it's the only mantle the ability to
so stuck at not being able to beat Raging brachy at around MR45 now, i dunno how to continue because gear wise literally all my mid to late game gear sets require either Raging Brachy or the fricking monkey to upgrade into higher tears, and I cannot manage to beat either of them :(
Very nice GS build
@@TeraRyza i dont even play GS but i definitely wanna try this one out, keep it up
what about the ticket for layered armors? can we still get it like the festival
Was putting together the parasmash build, almost didn’t realize what weapon he’s using. That’s not the original skin for that weapon is it? (The radoban os) mine looks rather boring anyone know which layered weapon it is?
im going to try your
last build
Brachydium Helm B+
Golden Lunemail B+
Shara Ishvalda Braces B+
Golden Lunecoil B+
Brachydium Greaves B+
Very flexible and forgiving baseline with built-in Divine Blessing lvl5
Frostout is literally just a weaker version of the meta build, at velkhana armor and frostfang helm, allows you to switch between crit draw and true charge for any situation, or you could spec for a near immortal crit draw set due to having all the skills you need and more
Edit: sorry it uses the arms not the helmet
Hi! Awesome content! Just one question, why the raging brachy sns for the final build instead of the fatalis one?
Did you watch the whole idea? He specifically says in the beginning that since many people still haven't farmed fatalis, he is not showcasing his weapons
How did you get h the soul fire roar Styx to look like that it doesn’t look like that for me
21:50 are there any augments you suggest with this equipment
i like the artimis sute the one of the Monsterhunter movi collab the full sute
What is your graphic settings for the game? it looks gorgeous
What’s that second gage for the one to the right?
Someone who doesnt spam fatalis armor!? No way!
@@TeraRyza Yeah fatalis' armor is goated. But only seeing fatalis, AT velk and safi armor gets boring after a while. Love the variety in here.
My Fatalis armor has not been taken off in months! Beware fellow fivers🤢
Please make the best armor set for lance
Time to get back
Hell try any Safi hunting Horn and base melodies included Earplugs AND Ext health rec, plus Evade Wind + Speed Boost bubbles
any recommendations for heavy bowgun?
How do you get the red slash affects?
Are the dual blades matched slicers
Cool names for all your sets.
How did you come to settle on the Pukei-Pukei armor set as Teraryza's look?
I just use velkhana gamma set with my dual blades and max whatever element is necessary for the build. It has a few comfort skills like speed eating and evasion, and dont @ me but coalesence is probably even better than health boost if the blight is something like fire. Also people sleep on immunity mantle, it gives you immunity to everything and you *CAN'T* be stunned. The gamma set gives me crazy dmg with alot of comfort quick sheath with speed eating makes for such a snappy playstyle.
Yeah true Coalesence is ABSURDLY strong. And yes Immunity Mantle is slept on. I'll rank it highish on my Tools Tierlist
Whats better speed eating or mushroom?
If you wouldn't mind, how'd you get Soulfire Roar "Styx" to look like that? I've looked on Nexus mods with "Soulfire" "Roar" and "Styx" but nothing seems to show up in terms of model replacements. I'd seriously appreciate a response as I really like making the bowguns look more like rifles.
If you do decide to respond, I thank you immensely.
@@EinDragees knowing now, I would have to guess it's the layered weapon for the guild palace heavy bowgun
Is the styx build possible when u just hit mr 24?
I need an Alat build that doesn't have it's armor lol
Talking about rimeguard armor, how do u obtain the "blablabla mantle" stuff? I was farming glavenus for the glavenus mantle but never got 1. Then when i want to forge rimeguard, it needs another mantle things. There is an option to meld it but i still dont have the material 😤
Mantles and similar are just rare drops. According to the drop table for Glav Mantle on Kiranico, your best single event to get one is a Gold Investigation reward for Acidic Glav at 18% - that's under 1/5 chance and requires you to complete a special quest that comes up randomly and for which you have limited attempts. It is still worth it if it's available though. Your best best at rare items, or even just more common items, is to get Investigations for that monster (Acidic is better for GlavMantle) that you can somewhat comfortably complete but also has a good amount of S/G rewards, ideally get Partbreaker on your armor and aim for part breaks (in this case just tail carves and head breaks) while picking up all the Palico Plunderblade white drops.
Or, and this may be more convenient, use a Celestial Wyverian Print to just make the Mantle at the Melder. The easiest* way to get one is as an Overdrive bonus from the Steamworks, though I've found it's better to check the time-sensitive Limited Bounties. Completing all available LB will get a special reward and sometimes it's a CWP, which I've heard is guaranteed to be the reward for all LB on Sunday, but I have gotten other chances throughout the week.
The community says that GS can't stun. Is that incorrect or why would we wanna use slugger on GS if thats the case?
Great video :D How did you do that detached camera at 12:35?
Thank you! :) Actually it's just the in game camera mode! It's called View Mode I believe and then there's a button to turn the HUD off. It's easily missed haha
@@TeraRyza ah cool, I didn't know that was there! Is that only available in town or can you use it in fights too?
@myleshanson42 Fights too but it doesn't freeze anything around you like other games. Meaning you'll get whooped while your using it in a fight 😅
How are these armor sets unlocked? I don't think I've any of these, at all. I'm still like at the Raging Brach and Furious Rajang purple quests. Just started with Guiding Lands, too. No Alatreon, Safi, or Kulve. Playing solo 99% of the time. 😅
this is pretty late, but i'm curious, why don't more people bring up the velkhana gamma set? is it just because it's significantly easier to obtain the beta +?
Yeahhh for my purposes I don't do that as much but gamma is definitely the way to go
Number sixteeeeeen please give me some more long sword builds
Looks at my gear having 4 slots at most being lvl 1 looks at this shit and be like oke i got some work to do
thumbs up for not having 5 sets of full fatalis
This video really just reinforced how little build variety there actually is in world. My favorite part in mh was doing mix set builds and custom counter builds but world's building is so stale. Every build in this video minus one is a meta build. Styx being the only one that's not. They really should've realized that linearly scaling sets was a bad idea.
Hey, i kinda like your videos, but i'd have a small critic for you to maybe improve your videos if u dont know about it yet.
i'd say you should try to work on your Voice optimizing, it is a bit Overdriven and too sharp, if u can optimize that i think it would benefit your videos.
Have a nice Week :D
19:20 For any elements? Plz
👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
Is this build for the base game?
Fortify says temporarily boosts attack and defence, it's permanent?!?
For the rest of the quest it's permanent! More of a solo play skill though as you need to die lol
getting max crit is too easy in master rank. I rebought for pc and as soon as i hit master rank i could make a decent damage build. its the other skills that make the hunts fun for me. this version of monster hunter is kinda easy to get skills so might as well play with more skills
If it can’t do fatalis it’s not worth using ….
I wish there were more vids like this :( all the build vids kinda just show the minmaxed fatalis/safi/kt builds its kinda boring ngl. I just wanna see interesting build vids with creative builds XD
I'm surprised to see that people are still making content for MHW, but I recently got back into it and I'm surprisingly really into the content 👍
Thank you! I think it's popping because a lot of players had a longing to return!
Me too; after destiny 2 was gettjng DDOS i was like eh Ima play another game and went back to one of my favorite games of all time. Still waiting for MH6 😞
Yeah, I also came back and bought iceborne after 3 years of beating Zeno and stopped playing😂
now even more people are coming to visit it because of the november sale (me)
