  • I’ve waited for this day for over 10 years!!!!! My life finally feels complete again and I am beyond stoked to have another DS450, I bought a 2009 DS450XMX brand new and raced it for a few years but ended up selling it when I found out I was about to be a dad. Life happens but I’ll tell you I have regretted getting rid of my Can Am almost every day since I parted with it and this 2015 is kind of a huge deal to finally fill a void in me that’s been missing for too long. My favorite sport quad ever made and I’m proud to say I put my faith in the 09 and raced AMA 450cc ATV MX on it with the factory Can Am sponsorship parts as mods only and all stock other then that. Was impressive and very competitive that way out of the box and I feel that this thing was truly made for me. Looking forward to posting riding videos soon on this DS so stay tuned to the channel!

Ironically, just yesterday I was thinking about my '89 Honda 250R FourTrax that I sold about 15 years ago. I'm in my mid-60s now and there's nowhere near me to ride so I don't plan to get back into it. I was just thinking how much I'd like to still have it in my garage. Maybe take it out to the Silver Lake Dunes once a year. But as the expression goes, that ship has sailed

You should still get another R and enjoy it as best as you can now whether it’s through riding or not! It would be nice for you to have one sitting in the garage that you could take out a couple times a year even just for a little nostalgia and trip down memory lane. I’ll always have machines until I’m 6ft under, it’s just in my blood and I couldn’t go without anything at all. I’m in my mid 30’s so I’m trying to enjoy the last 5 years or so that I’ll be able to ride hard so I’m nearly there. Even after I can’t push as fast anymore I’ll still ride, don’t care about getting slower, etc, all I care about is continuing riding as long as I possibly can. Maybe even grab a 4 stroke with E-start so all you have to do is sing your leg over the seat and hit the starter button and your off still riding and enjoying something your obviously still passionate about! Never too late!
