@@codename1176 You see, while yes the emperor and a great many other high ups are not very good, things like the Tarkin initiative that makes matters seem worse, are almost completely necessary due to the amount of crime and other problems that rose after the fall of the republic. The death star: It is essentially the Galactic civil war's version of real life's development of the nuclear bomb. Not meant to be used often, but will be if no other option. Main purpose of it's very existence is to drive fear into those who would seek to destroy the empire and it's structure that now holds together the galaxy. A good example that is in canon would be the scene in The Mandalorian when they show the
Mining Collective come in and force control over the citizens of Mos Pelgo after the empire's defeat at the Battle of Endor. Without power, Structure, A competent Government And the means to crush rebellion and terrorism, there is only chaos.

Like wtf. Battlestation containing thousands. No call for support of star destroyers when they found out that rebells are attacking. They had plenty of time. Rogue one is the most realistic movie of the Empire/FO era. Unkillable heroes is good name

@@malditooyoutube1234 I personally don't consider Disney cannon. Even so, an Empire that big is bound to have remnants for a long time. Rome didn't fall in a day and all that. But the Empire was only a cohesive whole until roughly the end of Episode 6.

Same, but while the first high part is playing, I picture companies of troopers marching into place, with entire regiments in larger squares, their steps all in unison and perfectly timed with the music, with banners flapping in the wind.
On to the planet Hoth, this looks like them deploying to hoth

Slowly, as the song progresses, the boom of star destroyers rings out across the surface of the planets, the scream of TIE-Fighters is heard as they swarm, leaving nothing but the wreckage of what used to be houses, military bases, and other structures, LAMBAA Shuttles, Gozanti-class cruiser, and other ships fly from the hangers, deploying the walkers and troops to clean up any stragglers, and as the empires is pushed back slowly by the rebellious scum, the troopers suddenly retreat, the scream of TIEs are gone, and then, the sky lights up a bright green color, signaling the end for all on the ground
I picture an empty stretch if space and as soon as the classic melody starts, a Star Destroyer flying over the camera like in ANH or an Imperial Fleet jumping out of hyperspace.
Now this feels like a march of a long collumn, only stoping to innevitably win a battle
amazing music, you hear all the notes and we enjoy all the parts of the music, it's beautiful !

I never particularly liked og Imperial March, I always thought it was kinda bland and so I've never understood the circlejerking around it by SW fans.
But holy my, _this_ version sounds so badass and powerful that I saved it on my HDD - I'm going to listen to this much-much more.

Seeing a side-by-side comparison with that AT-AT and all those Stormtroopers really gives a sense of scale. Major wake-up call as to how massive they were and how much of a threat they really posed to our heroes.
I'm pretty sure that's a lot bigger than canon scale.
@@curtisharvey2330 Yes, I'd say those AT-ATs are at least twice the size of a canon AT-AT. The cargo space of an AT-AT hold about 40 troopers on 2 levels. This looks like 4 levels. Also the head is way to large. It should hold a small pilot crew and be about 1 level large. This is at least 2 levels.

Oh god how i wish I could just tell someone look to the sky and all they see is Star Destroys droping out of hyper space into Earth's atmosphere and see shuttles and Stormtroopers being deployed to secure order and stability in the system. And in the end I would just look at my friends and say "Told you" just part of my imagination. This is the cleanest Imperial March edit I've heard. Well done to you and the UA-cam algorithim. I wonder if you might find something to do with Gordy Haab's work on Battlefront 1 (2015). I would stay away from tracks that rely heavily on chorus, as I think that voices simply don't take well to sound editing, but I shall follow your career with great interest.

Reminds me of the short story when the Empire field tested these. Snagged the top pilot, he made it "kneel down" while attacking. His superiors asked why. He said standing was a tactical error that made him vulnerable. Higher didn't like that a flaw had been discovered & quietly transferred this dude to the ass end of the galaxy lol.
