Most of these videos still have the old interface for gems, also it would seem from the comments that people fail to find the material interaction help that replaced it. Also it's not exactly clear what the gems do now.
I like the game, but the lack of reference information on material interactions is baffling. There are posts from a number people asking about where to find basic information on this, as the "help system" (which literally consists of these video clips) lacks meaningful detail about interactions and there is no other reference to look them up. This game was in development a very long time and this stuff couldn't even be documented in a basic in-game reference of some kind?
We going to get videos of all the particle types and how they interact with each other? Like, you just LET US find out on our own that you can boil acid..?
It's a laser and reflector setup. The smaller "Dark Echo" devices will re-target the beam from the "Darkling" device. Start with the Darkling and target a Dark Echo. Then use that Dark Echo to target another Dark Echo. Keep going as required. Finally, target something you want to destroy. It uses a lot of power.
If you've played CW2, it's the same as the Dark Beam and the Dark Mirrors but you can now freely aim and reposition them. However, as mentioned above, you'll need to manually target them and unfortunately the Darklings are not safe from surrounding creeper even though the laser is being reflected off of it like in CW2. That being said, you can instantly destroy any enemy structure like emitters by aiming the laser through the center of their structures.
Material combinations that are used in campaign: Acid = Sulfur + Water Creeper eater = Acid + Pixellium Boomzene = Nitron + Oil Ixedestroyer = Boomzene + Creeper eater Acid: dissolves metal,creeper liquid (the one that produces creeper), doesn't get stuck in creeper Boomzene: can blow up bedrock Ixedestroyer: gets stuck in creeper, used on Nexus - probably more I missed
@@Mrsuperimpsonmanduster ships have a feature called ‘embers’, selecting a duster should make the embers button appear on the display. Embers will drop from the duster and detonate any boomzene or burn any oil they touch
The video doesn't make it clear how vital the Spirit Ship / Bomber is vs the Digitalis network. It took me a while to realise the bomber must be concentrated on a branch to cut off the supply to its tip, causing it to wilt and die.
@knucracker how do you destroy digimaker? I have had defenders, gunships, frigates, and apex ship all just shoot at it indefinitely. In the video it says to shoot at it with cannons, but its just keeping the digitalis at bay.

Any idea how to get the power armor? Can’t even find it in the editor
Wouldn't mind having a help thingy for "Dark Echo"

Sir, I hope they pay you for this googled tutorial. Answered all my questions so fast that I had to rewatch a few parts.
👍
I thought something bad had happened and you were making a video asking for our help! XD
Material combinations that are used in campaign:
Acid = Sulfur + Water
Creeper eater = Acid + Pixellium
Boomzene = Nitron + Oil
Ixedestroyer = Boomzene + Creeper eater
Acid: dissolves metal,creeper liquid (the one that produces creeper), doesn't get stuck in creeper
Boomzene: can blow up bedrock
Ixedestroyer: gets stuck in creeper, used on Nexus
- probably more I missed
But how TF do I explode the Boomzene?

Absolute lifesaver. I had the bomber patrolling where it told me, but I guess not concentrated enough so literally nothing was happening
Do you think a voxel grid could be used for a future creeper world game?
what the hell do spirit ships do?

You get the nullifier in range of it
I still don't get how to use spirit ships, how do i select which area they will attack.
Hold "E" and draw the line you want the launch ship to trace
@@danielpmcalister cheers, i eventually noticed the E on screen during tutorial, no clue why the voiceover didn't mention it.
The game in serious need of more Help info. Some stage you need to know certain stuff to clear and is not mentioned in Help or in the stage dialogs.
well scripted sir
