This season seems and has a much brighter atmosphere yet serious that I like about survivor, than the recent seasons like 41 42 and 43. This looks good.

No thanks. A women-dominated season is always boring and predictable. Their idea of a intelligence is outsmarting a bunch of non players (see Micronesia) which is eh... Ok. Plus this season's men seems top tier. If boring women dominates this season then it would instantly be worst season of all time due to how good the men are but we won't see them perform.

A season where the men take over is just as predictable and boring as to a season with the women taking the reigns. Look at Fiji, MVGX, Ghost Island, Africa. Those seasons were dominated by men and only one of them was considered entertaining in Africa. Fiji is one of the most poorly received seasons, MVGX was alright but in a way still predictable, and Ghost Island is extremely predictable with a lackluster cast. 43 is also up there as predictable dominated by the men. We can agree to disagree, but a female dominated season being predictable and boring? I just don't think that's all true.

It was pretty much an even season. MvsGx is considered one of the best seasons of Survivor. Africa was a fun early season. Season 43 is also one of the best seasons ever. Ghost island was ok. Edge of Extinction had a really fun cast. What do female dominated seasons have? Kaoh Rong which we already know is a bottom tier season. One World, season 41, Game Changers and Guatemala which is universally known as bad seasons (One World is the absolute worst). Micronesia's plot was a bunch of women proud they outsmarted non players.

Redemption Island is one of the worst seasons by many because it was giving Boston Rob a season to win after playing the game 4 times, while Kim only did it on her first try and an equally eerie dominant strategy. Season 43 is pretty low tier because majority of the fans were rooting for Cassidy to win, and it became predictable that a man was winning. Season 41 was only bad because of the editing not being accurate to Erika's winning journey. Game Changers was not a bad season, it was only because the merge of that season was so complicated, and Guatemala was not a bad season, underrated yes, but not bad. Also Kaoh Rong is not even close to being one of the worst seasons of Survivor, that would be Fiji, Redemption Island, Caramoan, and Gabon. It was an entertaining season with a lot of memorable moments that are still talked about to this day. Edge of Extinction was only bad because of the winner winning due to the twist, but it did have a great cast. I personally do like Kaoh Rong as it had a very fun merge and a good cast. Regardless, whether it's men or women dominating, it would make or break a season. It's not just one or the other.

43 was good overall, although people were mad Jesse didn't win, which is why people are claiming not to like it, but it was definitely one of the better seasons. 42 had some entertaining people, but the season overall wasn't good.

Survivor really lost something when it stopped going to new locations. Also truly dislike casting so many "superfans" ie weirdos and does every effing challenge have to involve either a puzzle or throwing something at/in/onto something? Honestly with the fire-making shittery and without the individual questioning, I don't even bother to watch final tribal anymore and just find out who won on the internet the next day. And to think that I once sat through every reunion.
Ok here’s my prediction so far: 18TH. Lauren 17TH. Bruce 16TH. Sarah 15TH. Matt 14TH. Carson 13TH. Maddy 12th. Danny Jury: 11TH. Josh 10th. Frannie 9th. Brandon 8th. Claire 7th. Helen 6th. Matthew 5th. Yam yam 4th. Jaime Final 3: 3rd. Carolyn (1 vote) 2nd. Kane (1 vote) Winner: Heidi (6 votes) Reasons: Lauren seems like she will struggle socially and i don’t think it looks good for her Bruce might be medevaced. If not, I think he’s an early boot. Sarah might be targeted for being too strategic and might be idoled out because of it I know nothing of Matt so he’s there for now Carson might get too cocky for his own good Maddy might get ellie’d by someone like yam yam or Heidi Danny seems like a great guy but I worry that he might get cut one short of jury Josh could be targeted for his smartness and be the first juror I really want frannie to go far because she seems like a lot of fun, but I feel like the split tribal might get her Brandon to. Hopefully he doesn’t play like Ryan Claire could end up playing like Shan which could get her blindsided at top 8. I feel like she will be the most strategic player up to this point but it might bite her in the ass. She will not be as nasty or arrogant as Shan though. I’d love to see Helen go far so I’m holding on to hope that she can do it. I’d be surprised if Matthew doesn’t go far. He has good energy and reminds me of Cody from last season. Same with yam yam. He screams final boss to me so I’d be shocked to see him go so early Jaime might be the surprise this season. I feel like her knowledge of plants could help her and maybe she will be strategic or purpled, like her eggplants. I think we all want Carolyn to go far but the reason I have her as third is because I worry if her emotions might rub everyone the wrong way Kane seems like a smart guy but I’m honestly taking a gamble here. If he makes the merge, he might get to the end, but I don’t know how he will do in challenges. I’m goin on a limb here and choosing Heidi as my pick to win and here’s why. She reminds me a lot of Denise. An older women who is fit and physical as hell. I think Heidi will be a huge asset in challenges and have a great chance to win. This is my prediction. Please tell me what you guys think.

After a few seasons... They should have a 39 day season.... Old school vs. New school.... Old survivor players from maybe even before hidden immunities or right when they started.. vs. players from the newer generation of survivor..
That’s how I feel about literally every season but after the first 2 or 3 episodes I grow attached to them. You can’t really judge a whole cast based on a 2 minute trailer
This one of my favorite shows, I've been watching since day 1, after all these seasons though I always wonder why I have yet to see a team build a good shelter or noone ever really hunts for food but hey its not Naked n Afraid 🤷♀️😂 This season looks like its gonna be good tho!
I never watched Survivor all these years until a few months ago when I got Paramount Streaming and I love it. But there are always people you love and hate, and it is shocking to see people make the same mistakes over and again that past season's players have made. There are always people too lazy who have no clue it will put a target on them and there are people too bossy or rude. I guess no matter who you are, when you are out there your true self comes out. Clearly its the middle of the road people that seem to do best. The aggressive strong threats get voted out and the weaklings as well in most cases. Unless they are valued as a goat.
I'm honestly getting bored of US Survivor. Especially everything after s40. Gamebot overload. Excited for the upcoming new Australian Survivor though. Heroes vs Villains!
Australian Survivor is crushing it again in the new season. King George is back ! Along with many other great players, like Shonee, Jordi, Hayley, Nina, and some promising newbies. Just stopped by to see the US S44 trailer, and it's easy to see, nothing has changed, smh.☹
Matthew was plainly stupid to climb up that rocky mountain. He kept bragging about being adventurous. He paid the price. Did the contestants really caught fishes ? They went to the island with no backpack. Hence, how is it that they wore different clothes ?

I don't know if you have watched Australian Survivor already, but their episodes there are mostly 1 hour and 15 minutes long (estimated), and it's not boring. 42 minutes in US Survivor, the Reward challenges and the immunity challenges takes most of the time. It's better if we see the cast bond with each other, longer than US Survivor giving us.

I've got shit to do, I can't be watching survivor for 1.5 hours every night because their editors can't edit a storyline properly and have to try to show every little interaction that castaways have.

To be honest, I lost all interest in Survivor from Season 41 and that forced inclusivity speech of episode 1 in which "Come in guys!" was labeled as "offensive". Sorry, but no longer interested.
Still bummed about the ending to 43. It wasn’t a great season to begin with but the first look of 44 doesn’t give me the chills either. Please change the location @survivor cbs. I would also like to see more attractive / fit people again in the mix. I am sure you can find some with great personalities and backstories too.

PREDICTION SPOILERS: Look at you own risk. I wanted to know who was the person on the ground in the beginning challenge. Of course they wouldn’t show us, so I figured it out from context clues. The people standing around the crew were mostly from the Tika tribe. And those people were the three girls Carolyn, Helen, and Sarah, meaning it’s either Bruce, Carson, or Yam Yam. Then if you look closely, you can see a piece of slightly brown skin. And from our remaining suspects, it’s too dark to be Carson and to light to be Bruce. This means the person on the ground is Yam Yam
Okay: alternate take: it looks like yam yam and Carson are at the puzzle, waiting for Bruce to arrive, and are walking over to whoever is collapsed on the ground (assuming Bruce, bc Helen, Carolyn and Sarah and shown)

Just began watching this show and started watching the current (43) and honestly I love it, it’s very inspiring.

Don't get me wrong, they're great seasons (half of my top 10 seasons include returning players, but you miss the story and nuance behind those players) Don't worry, HvV is great, but just wait a bit beforehand. 43 was good overall, although people were mad Jesse didn't win, which is why people are claiming not to like it, but it was definitely one of the better seasons. 42 had some entertaining people, but the season overall wasn't good.
Four months later and it's turned out to be worse than 42 and 43 lol.

Survivor really lost something when it stopped going to new locations. Also truly dislike casting so many "superfans" ie weirdos and does every effing challenge have to involve either a puzzle or throwing something at/in/onto something? Honestly with the fire-making shittery and without the individual questioning, I don't even bother to watch final tribal anymore and just find out who won on the internet the next day. And to think that I once sat through every reunion.

I really want frannie to go far because she seems like a lot of fun, but I feel like the split tribal might get her
Brandon to. Hopefully he doesn’t play like Ryan
Claire could end up playing like Shan which could get her blindsided at top 8. I feel like she will be the most strategic player up to this point but it might bite her in the ass. She will not be as nasty or arrogant as Shan though.
I’d love to see Helen go far so I’m holding on to hope that she can do it.
I’d be surprised if Matthew doesn’t go far. He has good energy and reminds me of Cody from last season.
Same with yam yam. He screams final boss to me so I’d be shocked to see him go so early
Jaime might be the surprise this season. I feel like her knowledge of plants could help her and maybe she will be strategic or purpled, like her eggplants.
I think we all want Carolyn to go far but the reason I have her as third is because I worry if her emotions might rub everyone the wrong way
Kane seems like a smart guy but I’m honestly taking a gamble here. If he makes the merge, he might get to the end, but I don’t know how he will do in challenges.
I’m goin on a limb here and choosing Heidi as my pick to win and here’s why. She reminds me a lot of Denise. An older women who is fit and physical as hell. I think Heidi will be a huge asset in challenges and have a great chance to win.

I never watched Survivor all these years until a few months ago when I got Paramount Streaming and I love it. But there are always people you love and hate, and it is shocking to see people make the same mistakes over and again that past season's players have made. There are always people too lazy who have no clue it will put a target on them and there are people too bossy or rude.
I guess no matter who you are, when you are out there your true self comes out.
Clearly its the middle of the road people that seem to do best. The aggressive strong threats get voted out and the weaklings as well in most cases. Unless they are valued as a goat.

I don't know if you have watched Australian Survivor already, but their episodes there are mostly 1 hour and 15 minutes long (estimated), and it's not boring. 42 minutes in US Survivor, the Reward challenges and the immunity challenges takes most of the time. It's better if we see the cast bond with each other, longer than US Survivor giving us.

The final 6 players included 3 players and 3 duds. And the 3 duds were the final 3.

I wanted to know who was the person on the ground in the beginning challenge.
Of course they wouldn’t show us, so I figured it out from context clues.
The people standing around the crew were mostly from the Tika tribe. And those people were the three girls Carolyn, Helen, and Sarah, meaning it’s either Bruce, Carson, or Yam Yam. Then if you look closely, you can see a piece of slightly brown skin. And from our remaining suspects, it’s too dark to be Carson and to light to be Bruce.
This means the person on the ground is Yam Yam
Okay: alternate take: it looks like yam yam and Carson are at the puzzle, waiting for Bruce to arrive, and are walking over to whoever is collapsed on the ground (assuming Bruce, bc Helen, Carolyn and Sarah and shown)
As well as if you compare outfits- Yam yam is walking towards the scene, away from the puzzle- his shirt is super light and colorful and matches
