Hello Mark, I think your the greatest and very informative about the lake. I love everything about your videos and wish I had found you earlier. I'm half way through this one and the wife says that it's time to eat so I will let you go for now and be back later. Man your great and if I get a boat your coming with me to show me where to go.
See you later Gil in Mass

Wow. Thank you so much! I would definitely be happy to give you a tour. The lake can be tricky, and it's easy to get lost, so I'd definitely suggest a GPS. We use the Navionics app on our iPhone, which actually navigates and tells us where to go. We don't trust it 100%, but it's a huge help.

Beautiful video. Thanks for bringing back childhood memories. Is that the sound of the new 1.9L engine? Beaut

Thank you for the nice words! It's not the 1.9L, but I wish it was. It's the standard 3 cylinder. I actually like this engine - very economical, and on places like Winnipesaukee with a 45 MPH limit, the bigger engine wouldn't be needed much, but on places that don't have a limit and for faster acceleration everywhere, it would be great.

Been really looking into purchasing a VX Cruiser! Enjoy ur videos as well! Would you be able to give a quick explanation of what the TDE toggle switch above the Cruise / No Wake button does. I’ve been searching for some videos but can’t seem to find any! Thanks!

Hi Jay. Thank you for watching. Happy to hear you like the videos. We love our VX Cruisers! I'd describe TDE as a very slow cruise control. When in neutral, you press the TDE button up for forward or down for reverse, and the PWC will slowly move in that direction very slowly at maybe 1 MPH. This is great because you can make minor steering adjustments without the PWC taking off in the wrong direction. Everything is very subtle. One difference between TDE and regular cruise assist is you don't need to press the throttle to maintain that speed. TDE only activates if you're in neutral and not moving. While waiting for our machines to come in, I downloaded and read the manual and was thoroughly confused by the TDE & Cruise features, but when you actually use them, they're actually very simple. I was surprised at how confusing the manual made them seem, but I learn better from doing things rather than reading, so that could be part of it. Hope this helps, but if not, let me know, and I'll be glad to help. I actually showed how to do use the TDE in one of my videos, but it was stuck in the middle somewhere, and I know people don't watch them all the way through and it could easily get missed. I will try to make a video that shows how it and cruise control works.

Would love to know what kind of phone mount that is and where you buy ? Would really appreciate it

Hi - It's from a company called RAM Mount. I don't think I can post a link, but you can google it. It consists of 3 parts, the part that holds the phone, the part that mounts to the PWC, the "arm" that goes in between the phone holder and the part that mounts to the PWC. They use a "ball" system where everything connects together through "ball mounts." B size is the most common, but I went with the bigger C size because I wanted the heavier duty design.
Our Yamaha's have the capability of mounting the RAM system directly via a 1/4"x20 RAM ball mount, so that worked well. Here's a list of the parts I used to make it. The part that mounts to your PWC may vary depending on how you plan to mount it.
I custom designed what I bought via individual items because none of the "default" configurations did what I wanted.
RAM Quick-Grip XL Phone Mount (RAM-HOL-PD3U)
RAM Diamond Ball Base - C Size (RAM-238U)
      RAM Tough-Ball with 1/4"-20 x .625" Threaded Stud - C Size (RAP-379U-252062)
RAM Double Socket Arm - C Size Long (RAM-201U-D)
Hope that helps. If not, please let me know, and I'll be glad to help.
