doesn't matter whether its family photos or personal dick pics or what!? A regular head boss or manager wouldn't ask for your personal family photo matter, to build a relationship at work. Whether you work a 8-4, or 5-9 jobs. Or even if you work retail, restaurant, or office, business. No one higher will ask to see your family photos to build a work relationship!?
Living with a group of players (flights, hotels, every day) is a lot different than your manager at your grocery store. You've obviously never been on an organized sports team before
The more I think about this the weirder it is. Even if he did just ask for family photos that's still weird lol. Imagine meeting with your new boss and they ask "Can I see the pictures of your family on your phone?" Even if Babcock didn't have malicious intent he's still a weird dude.
frank corrado gives you an insiders look at what babcock is like. said among other things that he is socially awkward and can't relate to people very well which is weird for a hockey coach. he definitely doesn't like babcock but said there was nothing nefarious about what he was trying to do. his awkward way of trying to make a connection with the player.
Bear in mind that the comment was NOT "he's an alright guy, just really awkward." Rather it was, "awkward...selfish...not going to remember any names...does not care about you or your family...only cares about himself." Not exactly a glowing endorsement.
oh yeah, total jerk. i get the sense that his dance card is far from full. i think he was making the point that he just doesn't know how to relate to people other than as a coach. and he's not very good at that. sdpn was suggesting he had some nasty agenda and corrado who can't stand him doesn't think that's the case.@@angrydalailama6089
For the three kids that might care: this one's a bit of an exception to the usual rule. "Who's" is actually a contraction of "who is", and doesn't indicate possessive.
The Marner fiasco was well known - when became public - the tactics - Babcock was fired But only due to this story becoming common knowledge Always believe the player - we are a different breed
@@chloewu2760 that makes no sense at all. They are your photos in your phone you don't have to show anything you don't want to rookie or not. Such a ridiculous argument.
Maybe wait and see what the NHLPA has to say before you jump to conclusions. Despite his poor track record and those who report with an axe to grind… take a breath and let justice play out. If he overstepped then with his past behaviour he will have face the consequences. Patience.
My favorite part of their original podcast was they started with this clearly biased piece about how Babcock is the devil and this is proof of it, and then followed up by calling out the Ottawa reporter for being biased about Debrincat leaving. It was super cute.
No I think the NHL releasing an official statement that the younger players were uncomfortable and that the representatives they sent had "intense" player meeting probably makes it more true.
@@Marixa1979by the NHL and NHLPA. "Marty Walsh and NHLPA Assistant Executive Director Ron Hainsey met with Blue Jackets players in Columbus, a meeting described by several sources as “intense.” On Tuesday, when the story broke from Paul Bissonnette on the Spittin' Chiclets podcast, both the NHL and NHLPA initially were satisfied with the explanations from Boone Jenner and Johnny Gaudreau. However, it appears things changed for both later that night when information was received that some of the younger Blue Jackets were uncomfortable with what had occurred. That appears to be the major focus of the investigation."

You used the word "asked" a couple of times there. Might give a clue to the perspective we all need to keep in mind here.
It’s happened to me every year as a teacher coming back in fall. Share something from summer of your choice. No big deal.

I think you are 100% correct! Of course Dangle and crew despise Babcock already, so they really want this to be true.
