I had an 85 xl100s when I was growing up. That bike was indestructible. Ran it out of oil a few times jumped it all the time mud water didn't matter. I also outran a 98 kx100 with 2 people.on the ole' xl absolute units

I picked up an XR a couple weeks ago too. 200$, top end was destroyed. So it's getting the BW treatment, 212cc Predator and Tav30 clutch.

When your riding , after you switch out of the highest gear does it automatically go back to 1st gear or do you have to slow down and put it back in 1st gear ?
Depends on the machine but typically you shift it up and down
