Love my pressure cooker. It's a bog standard, 20 year old, aluminium Tower stove top. Only ever changed the gasket once. Ham hocks, lamb shanks, bacon ribs and ox tongue etc in't pressure cooker....food of't gods🤤
cheers and great vid as ever but i always think these joints are the glued joints ,don't know why but i never get them as look fack pieces off pork stuck together ... anyway enjoy
Well that looks lovely,I think I 15:00 will try it,but as the ham is dreadful in US I think smoked turkey legs might do the trick,I have used them in pea soup, and they are excellent.I don’t think we have chili beans, but I will take a look, and see,
Now that's a 'Winter Warmer' stew! Just look at all that yum yum 🤤 delicious goodness 👍😀 I doubt any of this would go to waste, mopped up with torn pieces of crusty bread. Delish! I'd kill for a hunk of gammon like that. It's not sold in Australia in such proportion. Hard enough to get a gammon steak. Maybe make a campfire bean stew 'Blazing Saddles' style for laughs. I made a 5 hour slow cook 'Osso Bucco' day before last. Absolutely delicious. Try that one day Keith. Cheers guys 😀
Hi I've just made cornbeef Ash cut up potatoes onion peas corn cook then add cornbeef and gravy at the end of to thicken up got 4 ready meals for the freezer and my tea all for under £3
Hi Keith and Nat hope your both well I made a stew last night in slowcooker the was a portion left I put jn a lidded container and out jn fridge my son had it for tea t onight oh your campfire stew looked lovely with mash you need a nice hot meal like campfire stew or stew for tea these cold nights lovd yo uouboth fran xxxx
Looks proper OFG! My mom taught me a recipe, using cheap ham hocks in the pressure cooker with grated carrots, onions and potato chunks. When cooked, shred the meat off the hocks and discard. Bit of bread with that on a cold day and you're coming off like the ready Breck man! Normally get my hocks of rob down the dimples this time of year, best butcher in Lichfield. Keep em coming mate.
Hi Keith i made last week in me slow cooker it was absolutely delicious unfortunately my husband doesn't like so froze the leftovers its perfect this weather 😊
arghhhhhhhhhh now am starving Lol i could just devour that right now Keith 🙂 love a Gammon Joint, and those Slow Cookers are a fantastic bit of kit now to have in the Kitchen, does the meat so Tender, Get stuck in Nat hahaha 😂😂😂 and i bet ya hoping i don't win at the Tastycoins again cos i got a cracking challenge on the agenda haha 🤣🤣 a Ska Karaoke Session would go down a treat haha you in your Pork Pie Hat Keith banging out a few Madness songs haha 😂😂😂 with Nat on the Drums and the Saxophone haha 😂😂 and Roxy in the Background howling at the Singing haha 🤣🤣
Ive never seen gammon used in a stew before. I know id love that if I tried it. Looks bloody gorgeous Keith. Id have it with mash or roast potatoes or even just a nice garlic baguette to mop up the juices. I always add extra veggies towards the end of cooking a stew so youv got some veg really soft n some thayts got a slight bite to it. That gammon pulled apart so easily. This is one of the most delicious looking meals you've made Keith. Im enjoying some crispy southern fried chicken but Id gladly swap it for your stew mate. 😊
I'm impressed with how that gammon shredded could have thickened the juice with a bin of cornflower
Cheers mate
