Tracing your pattern first, with a tracing wheel, makes the removal after quilting will help a lot. Love this tutorial and also the mini-printer is great.
I am so happy you popped up on my utube feed. Young lady, you are the best teacher.❤ And the BEST part you are a left-handed person too. You have helped me understand so much. I am 70 years old. I made a few quilts back in the early nineties. Man has things changed. Your free motion videos are the best for us who don't get it. Can't wait to get going Elmer's glue is great to learn about. I do have a she shed finally. With a new brother machine. I have stage 3 lung cancer on immunity therapy. Trying to keep my mind busy. Somedays, I don't feel like trying to sew, but you have given me hope. Thank you for being here to help us God Bless

I signed up, not sure what other information you want but I will be following your youtube channel. Free motion quilting is much harder than I would have ever guessed it to be.
I am just learning how to motion quilt. What you've come up with here in my mind is brilliant. I can't afford to buy a new printer, but I will definitely be printing these in my old printer and using them. Thank you for your awesome ideas.
Thanks Miriam! I think the paper that is all in one long sheet, but perforated would work on a quilt. Just print off how ever many sheets to go across your quilt. Ta da, you're good to go. I'm going to try it!!
Wow thank you so much. I will be ordering the printer. I am 62 and have recently gotten back into quilting. I never did learn to freemotion quilt. Love your videos ❤
Hello Miriam, Thank You so much for this great video !!! . I'm a fairly new quilter and I so need that printer. For one I'm technology challenged, I call myself a grandma dinosaur with technology. But this little printer looks easy enough even I can do. Which is saying a lot, I love the fact that it doesn't take ink either. And it looks like choosing the application for the individual quilt patterns. It's easy enough I hope so. But I love the fact that I can stitch right on top of the pattern. Which will help in replicating it for me. But also I will be learning the memory needed for the pattern. Great great idea I'm so happy that you put this video out. I can't do it right now because I've recently had a fall and broke my right femur in my right leg. So I won't be sewing anytime soon for a while. But I can save this video and go back to it when I can and I'm sure this printer will still be for sale I'm so hoping? Along with the details of where to buy more paper? Miriam I can't tell you how much you've changed my world in quilting already. I look forward to watching this video again and again in the future. And to see more of your patterns that you say you're going to produce that's very exciting for me. I can't thank you enough for presenting this video not only for me but others on your channel. Looking forward to see more of your videos. Now that I'm home from the hospital and rehab. Hope you're having a very wonderful week ahead.
Hi, Marion! I'm so sorry you broke your leg! Ugh, that's no fun! I hope you heal quickly and the physical therapy helps you get back on your feet soon 💖 I"m so glad that my videos are helping you! That makes me so happy. Yes, this video will be here when you return and all the info about the printer and paper should still apply! It's such a nice little printer; it's going to come in handy for all kinds of projects! Feel better soon!! 💖💖💖

Thank you for sharing your practice sheet. I used to just draw out the design and that helped me. When you get around to it, maybe you could share a video how you wrestle the whole quilt under your machine to free motion quilt. That is the hardest for me. I love doing it but it sure gets to be a challenge. The fun way to do. It is a quilt as you type of quilt that way you are only free motion quilting one block at a time. I look forward to your videos. You are awesome.
Thank you for the prayers, Glenda! It’s already doing much better, but it just flares up sometimes when I overwork it 🫣 I hope you have fun with the practice sheets!!!💖

I drew mine using an app called “Procreate” on my iPad. You could also draw them with pen and paper and then scan them into your computer.
do you practice with thread and everything? or just with no thread on the quilt sandwich?
You can practice either way! To save on thread, you could start by practicing without the thread, then when you're comfortable with the movements, add the thread!
