Thanks for posting. I've always wanted to do this trip. Perhaps on our next trip to see family in Taiwan. On a side note, I have the impression that you are from Germany and wanted to save that keelung reminds me of a rougher, grittier version of Kiel Germany, where I once studied.
Hi, so nice to see your video, I am a Mazu native, however, I left my hometown in 40 years ago, now I am working at an international company, I'd like to have some chances to introduce my birthplace to my colleagues as well as foreign friends. Your video is something that I want, but since I was born at Nangan island, do you have another video to show Nangan scenery, especially the Jinsha (it means Golden Sand) village. Thank you again, & wish you have a pleasant trip everywhere.
Thank you very much for your comment! Glad you like this video. Unfortunately we didn't have time to visit many places in Nangan. We drove by Jinsha, but didn't stop there. Hopefully we have more time during our next trip to Matsu. Cheers!
This was six years ago, but I think the restaurant still exists: It's called Da Zhong Restaurant (大眾飲食店). The address is No. 80, Mazu Village on Nangan Island (南竿鄉馬祖村80號). Mazu Village is very small, the restaurant is on the main street. But I don't think they speak English or have an English menu. You might have to point at what other guests have, if you don't speak Chinese. :)
Greetings from Dominican Republic we want to get back with Taiwan as allies 🇹🇼🇹🇼🇩🇴🇩🇴

No, this was just a trip we planned ourselves.
