I love the butterflies! They are beautiful! I like the idea of putting a stick behind them for plants, but I also can see putting them of gifts in place of bows or on hand-made greeting cards. Thank you for sharing. I will have to try it now.

Adorable project and shot at a great angles to show what was going on :) Thinking about the easier way of making the tight accordian, would scoring it at regular intervals be an option? As for putting your needle through the paper, bending the rest of your accordian away as you're putting your needle through might make it easier as there would be less resistance on the other side, and possibly using a jewellery needle which is finer than sewing needles...???
